He has done a great job so far, look at what a mess he started with. Bush pretty well destroyed everything Clinton had got done, and now Obama is still cleaning up the Republicans mess they made!!
A great job at what, getting the credit rating for the
country downgraded not once but twice? The federal deficit
has hit close to seventeen trillion dollar, equivalent to
one hundred dollar bills stacked on top of each other would
reach the moon! There has been literally no jobs agenda for
the past four years. Our borders are so insecure that illegal
immigrants are driving trucks over the fence. There is a
stretch of road along the border with Mexico inside the
US that has warning signs along the way warning American
citizens that they could be in danger of being kidnapped or
otherwise abducted by foreign factions if they travel this
road. When the State of Arizona tried to do something about
it, the Obama Administration tried suing the State for it's
effort! The US Coast Guard has many boats that may soon have
to be dry docked because the fleet is rusting down and the
government has no plans to repair them. Sure, there was a mild
winter and coal may have suffered a bit from that, the Obama
Administration and Lisa Jackson of the EPA are battling hard to
stop it all together, now that they have four more years to
work on it, we can be sure that it is sure bet that they will
put a halt to the coal industry and our area will be devastated!
Obama is doing a great job well enough, that is if you're part
of a foreign country and he wants to buy your friendship!

Abraham Lincoln was Republican, dude...and during the segregation
years, the south was known as the the Solid South, solid southern
democrat..remember MLK and the famous walk across the bridge over
the Alabama River into a little town called Selma? I had buddies
that were black and we couldn't be seen in town together for fear
of reprisals from the white community or the black community, I
don't know if you have ever felt fear in a racist situation or
not, but I can tell you, it is no fun! We also had a few Morrocco
foreign students on base (Craig AFB), they were okay, but I could
tell that our Christian Faith didn't sit well next to their
Muslim Faith....this was long before Bin Laden and Obama was only
five years old, a lot of water flowed under that bridge since
then and our problems as a nation have multiplied many times over!
Since Obama, the country has had its creditability lowered twice
and our deficit is at or near 17 trillion dollars and the falling
over the 'fiscal cliff' in January 2013 is more likely to happen
than not!(Speaking of the American Civil War and states seceding,
you do know that Kentucky did not secede, don't you)?
Yes, I am aware Kentucky did not secede. And I am also aware that Beriah Magoffin was the Governor of Kentucky in 1860 during the outbreak of the Civil War. And the Governor our County was named after. And yes the republican party was against slavery, and the sad thing is, in the history of the republican party that was the one and only time they fought for the rights of a minority.

And yes the solid south was solid democrat. But in the late 1940's the Democratic party started to support the civil rights acts, and ending segregation. A lot of the Democratic party changed to the "Dixiecrat" party and ran Strom Thurmond for president in 1948. John F Kennedy and Lyndon B johnson supported the end of segregation, and voting rights for african americans. The republian party capitalized on this and presidential candidate Barry Goldwater was the first Republican to carry half of the south in 1964. The Dixiecrat party merged with the republican party, most of the Democrats changed to republicans due to the Democratic parties suport of the civil rights act of 1967 and no Democrat has carried all southern states since Republican presidential candidate Richard Nixon carried the south in 1968, for the exception of Jimmy carter, being from Georgia carried most of the south. He was the last Democratic Presidential candidate to carry the majority of the Solid Southern States, or Red States.

And as far as Barack Obama being against coal, the mild winter is the reason the coal layoffs. If the coal companies could sell their product they would be mining it. And so far it has been a cold winter and I think the coal industry will pick back up to where it was at before within the next 6 months to year as soon as the stockpiles of coal start to be used up, the demand will increase, and if the coal industry picks back up to where it was 2-3 years ago I hope everyone gives Obama the credit for getting the economey and coal industry back on track. I mean if he was the reason for the layoffs, then if the coal industry picks back up, shouldnt he get the credit for that also?

Maybe so, let's wait and see, okay? Like I said, we were
not going to be any better off with Mitt Romney and we
already saw for the past four years that Obama wasn't
getting us anywhere fast...so give him another four years
and see whether or not he drops the ball as badly as did George
Bush. This country has seen its better days and they are
behind it, too much looming national debt and too many
greedy politicians who are in power to drag it down more.
There is no sense in us beating a dead horse to death any more
than it already is dead, if you're happy with Obama, then
he's yours for the next four years..so have a ball!

For everyone on this whole coal business make sure your facts are straight and not coming from some unreliable mouths! Barack Obama, our president, isn't trying to take coal out! He is putting regulations on coal that Bush took off, that are needed! He is making sure all coal mines are safe to work in. Do research the person who shut down the coal mine in Massachusetts was the "good man" Mitt Romney! I am not disrespecting Mitt Romney. Also remember that the first president to take out coal was republican Ronald Reagan! Also for everyone bashing him in this abortion and gay rights thing! Just stop! Do you believe in birth control? We it's basically the same thing. And so what if he believes in gay rights that's his opinion and believes not ours! Also him being Muslim! Can you prove it? Did you hear him say it or are you listening to that unreliable source again? Did you see it on paper? Then you can't prove it. To everyone that said that Muslim don't need to be in office! What about the Mormon, who worships another god, uses a different bible, and belongs to a cult(their religion)! Yes, I'm democrat, and I'm not ashamed! So next time you speak and say things bad about OUR PRESIDENT! Get your facts straight. And stop listening to that unreliable source!

UKfan...the facts are straight, yes in 2008
while having an interview with George
Stephanopoulos, Candidate Obama claimed his
muslim faith until George corrected him with
political correctness that instead Obama was
Christian..to which Obama changed his mind
that he was Christian...so apparently you and
George knew more about Obama than Obama knew
about himself. Oh yes, Obama and the EPA's
Lisa Jackson is after the coal industry and
eventually, it will be shut down before this
four year term is up. No one told you to be
ashamed of the president, like or not he is
the president of our country and if for nothing
else, he deserves our respect and support
in trying to run this country, this is our home.
I only hope Congress and the president can work
together...but really, to think they will would
make us very much naive!

I have read on the net that a select group of rich bankers run both candidates. The President is just a front so the American people are tricked into thinking they have a choice. These rich men run the nation. Rich men like the Rothchild's-Rockefellers...... . True, maybe, maybe not, but leaves one to wonder.

All Obama does is contradict himself. He tries to save face. If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. I guess most of America has fallen for anything. He is a celebrity want to be.

How can people vote for someone who goes against God? Being gay isn't o.k. It never has been o.k. and it never will be o.k. We all have something the devil tries to use against us. God didn't create us that way. Sorry people. If you feel that way there is a reason. You don't have to act on it. It is an abomination to the Lord. If you don't believe me read the Bible. If Obama, would of thought it would of gotten him more votes he would have agreed to allowing people to marry animals. Where does the foolishness stop people? We weren't put on this earth to pleasure ourselves. We were put on this earth to choose who we want to serve. We were put on this earth to serve God. If your not for him then you are against him and one day he will laugh at your calamities. Ponder this. I don't care if the President says being gay is o.k. I don't care if Sponge Bob says it's o.k. People, no, it's not o.k. If someone says their gay people shouldn't treat them bad but to have the right to give into marriage-no. First of all the whole purpose of marriage is to give an oath before God. Now if you believe in God how can you believe its o.k. to be gay and give into marriage? God loves everyone. Even if you feel like your gay. God loves you. He wants all of use to repent and turn from our evil ways, whatever that might be. He gave the ultimate sacrifice, his son, but we too have to make sacrifices in our lives if we are to serve God. People always says it's our right. Yes, God gives you a choice. Make sure you can not just live with it, die with it , and stand in judgement for it.

I don't believe in gay marriage. But I can't stop people nor can you! So if they are going to be like that let them cause we can't do anything about it. And yes I know it's and abomination to The Lord. But why bash our president who you are supposed to respect. And vote for someone who doesn't believe in god? Neither does Governor Romney! Look it up! He's Mormon! They practice a different bible and worship the prophet John Smith, not god. And I know you didn't say it and I'm not causing you of saying it! But people who are saying your not a Christian for voting for Obama think about it! When god comes back to take his children home is he going to look at your past bating records? I don't think so! As my mother said! "I went to the polls a Christian, voted for Obama, and came home a Christian! And guess what... I'm still a Christian!"

Yep, were're stuck with Obama for another
four years and it looks like the Clintons
too, but please spare us the misery of using
their names and Christianity in the same
sentence..(the same as with OIL and WATER, they
simply do not mix well together)!

That depends on the oppinion of who's listening..or reading.
It is an admirable name though; 'Proud American' is something
we as Americans should strive to be, simply because we don't
all agree just how to go about it, we all should be willing to
do what we can to keep America a place we can be proud of and
safe from the whims of some dictator!
