Does anyone know if Dr. Mark Caruso is a good doctor or not? Trying to find a good MD in this area. One who is knowledgable and cares for their patients. Yes, I know I'm asking for the impossible but maybe there is one out there.

I cannot intelligently tell you anything about his knowledge
in the medical field, he has a license to practice elsewise
he would not be on the hospital staff, I do not have such
training and only speak as a dissatisfied patient that almost
had him as the attending physician at the hospital. He was
most arrogant and lacked any amount of compassion toward my
wife as a patient. I checked her out of that hospital and took
her to another doctor who took good care of her condition. I
do not plan to visit Paul B Hall again as long as that guy is
part of the staff there.(This is my opinion only and may not
be anyone else's).

I had him for a dr. several years ago and he was terrible!! very bad bed side manner and I wouldn't go back to him if I never seen another dr...of course this is just my opinion. I now see Kelly Cole at the Arthritis Center of Lexington..which I love!!!!

I didn't know he even worked at Paul B. Hall Hospital, I only know he is an employee of Highlands of Prestonsburg. I see him over there visiting patients all the time.
As far as being a good doctor, he helped my arthritis pain when the doctors at the Arthritis Center on Waller Avenue, at Lexington, failed to help me in over four years of goint there. He is a "little different" in personality, than the average doctor, and even looks a little "strange" but don't let this fool you. He cares about his patients, and works very hard to find what is wrong with them, and what will help them.
He is a Good Doctor.

He treated my wife like she was a piece of dead meat,
you can call him a good doctor if you want, but I have
a whole other word for his doctoring..I don't have to
elaborate on the experience other than to say that this
doctor will not be treating me or any of my immediate
family again!

idk bout this dr but i always respected ppl in the medical field until a few yrs back i was terribly ill ,went to pbh, when i saw a usual dr there i thought good, i know him for yrs and he will surely help me WRONG WAS TREATED LIKE A MANGY DOG,he spoke to me as if i was a idiot ,told me that i should be ashamed of what i was putting my family thru,at this time id bout had enough ,mind you i was very ill he ordered a blood culture the works as the nurse told me ,fine my nerves had by then settled hrs later in the waiting room at the er he finally came bk in to tell me that it didnt show any Oipiates or drugs ,i had pneumonia.gave me a script of antibiotics ,a shot i walked out.now the reason for my story and no matter how many ppl shake thier heads in disbelief of it ,it is all true.this trusted physician for many yrs treated me bad and checked me for drugs bf i was diagnosed of pneumonia ,it first hurt my feelings but i was so sick i didnt care ,i will never go to the er anywhere because of the TREATMENT I RECIEVED THAT NIGHT.
