Most just sell overpriced cartridges or have no clue what they sell.

The tobacco stores don't seem to be much interested in ecigs and the convenience and drug stores are mostly carrying disposables. You might have better luck finding supplies in a head shop. Personally, I've found ordering online to be the cheapest and easiest option.

Check online at v2 cigs. It's the best substitute I've found. The cowboy flavor is just like reds, congress tastes like parliament. It's probably the best or second best in the country.

Ideally, quitting smoking should be as easy as it sounds. It is not. Beyond that, people have basic misconceptions about personal vaporizers.
First of all, vaping is not smoking. The industry makes some "ecigs" that look like cigarettes, but it isn't the same thing.
Second, man has ENJOYED smoking for 3,000 years. Vaping is without the drawbacks of smell, carcinogens, tar, carbon monoxide, etc. Even the amount of nicotine is optional.
Third, it's SUPPOSED TO BE a free country. Engines pump out toxins that are just as bad as cigarette smoke - does anyone think quads, snowmobiles, bass boats and jet skis need to be banned?

"Best" in vaping is really a subjective term, but V2 does have high ratings, overall and I like the I like the KR808D-1 (XL) batteries.. Their products seem to be high quality, but be ready for a little sticker shock to go with it. They have a holiday kit on sale right now, and if you order from them I'd recommend getting some universal adapters while you're at it - just in case for future use.
V2 offers 3 tobacco flavors, and apparently each one has a different level of nicotine by default, so you have to pay attention when you order if you want a different strength.
I like V2's Red (there is no "Cowboy" flavor) but I haven't tried Congress. I guess Sahara is supposed to be for Camel smokers. To me it is a bit like tobacco with a hint of licorice (not bad when you get used to it). I don't go for the fruit flavors, but V2's coffee and chocolate flavors are better than some others I've tried and I like that the cartos come in blister packs. A couple drawbacks to V2 is that they have a small selection of ejuices (they don't even offer all the flavors they have in their cartridges) and their prices are about twice what I pay from another reputable vendor.

...it is simple to quit, all one has to do is
to stop lying to him/herself and don't light
another one up. After being a chain smoker
since childhood, I threw the things down and
haven't smoked a cigarette, a cigar nor a pipe
since July 9, 1987...(I am sixty eight now).

Good for you! I notice you specify that it is simple to quit, and I don't dispute that. I said it isn't easy, which isn't the same thing. Obviously you know about tobacco - now can you tell me what experience or real information you have about personal vaporizers?

I am adding to this because someone said I was 'clueless',
I don't have an issue about the disagreement, that's up
to the person who disagrees, but I know had I not quit
smoking that by a lot of signs I had over twenty five
years ago I most likely would not be alive today. If
that's 'clueless' I would love for this person to
enlighten me on what he/she means by it. I did not say
it is easy to quit, but I did say should a person feel
the need to quit, the first thing to do is to say 'I've
quit' and then stop lying to him/herself by not quitting!
Cigarette smoke stinks up a person's hair, clothes, car
home and anything else it comes into contact with..bar none!
Not to mention the things cost almost five dollars a pack/
fifty bucks per carton...had I not stopped smoking them
twenty five + years ago, I simply could not afford them now!
Who's clueless now dude...throw the things away and see how
soon you will be able to breathe better, your lungs will
start the healing process very soon and your whole being
will have more meaning!

I don't know how or why anyone would judge this a "clueless" or disagree with it. The first step to quitting IS self honesty. Smoking is Russian roulette. One can't ignore all of its drawbacks - the financial cost, the health costs, the social stigma, the eventual health risks, etc. and sanely believe that smoking is in any way good or productive.
Kudos to anyone who finds the resolve - whether it comes from willpower, faith, desperation or just plain stubbornness - to not light the next cigarette or pinch the next bit of dip.

I watched my dear mother die from smoking
complications, her lungs simply filled up
and she developed enfazema (COPD) until she
could no longer breathe without help from an
oxygen making machine. I pleaded with her,
but as with so many other smokers, she would
get angry, so I had no alternative but to
leave her alone with it, she knew the risks
and she chose her course. Even though she was
seventy-five when she died, the doctors said
she would have been just fine had her lungs
not quit because of cigarette smoking, yesterday
would have been her 93rd birthday, I love
and miss her so much.
