10-4 on the "underdog" statement. I detest seeing someone chastised and ridiculed simply because their verbiage might be a bit off, etc. We've all seen it. A newbie comes along and they get hammered into leaving the threads.... I don't like seeing anyone bullied off of the threads and I'll usually stick up for them if they seem new. I've always been that way in real life situations though too.
Always took the underdogs under my wing when I could..

I come across as a wise guy on this thread. In real life, I'm a very nice fella. Just use topix to get vent off some steam. BTW. I'm pretty darned old too.(Ms. Font has a good idea how old).

Good, reply to one of them. I would like to see it. I wasn't on topix/or the computer during that time and all my posts are still there so I can only imagine what trash the Mods removed. If they are still on your's and other's computers, then please post some. Like I said, if they aren't the same as your computer...GOOD, I don't have to see them. There is enough trash on here they leave I scroll through. Are you a racist black? What's with all the whitey comments. Seems you are one of the sheep among the posters. The regular posters and decent ones just reading know better about me and I could careless what you or any of unabomber/sewer crew thinks. They mean nothing to me. You should write greeting cards or horoscopes. hahaha Glad you love me. You can't have enough people to love you in this lifetime. Have a great day!

I tell it like it is. If people don't like it, they can either suck it up and get over it- or not. That's life. I really don't care what other people think.

I watched that yesterday. Didn't you find it odd though, that these "scientists" were so young? They also appeared to be acting from script. One stated that he had been with NOAA for over 20 years, yet with his slicked back hair and horn rimmed glassed, he still appeared to be not a day over 35. Of course he could have been a mail boy for them 20 or more years ago, in theory of course..... I just found it comical that the Discover channel, one that used to be completely credible, would promote a program that was 'not so' much so.
Why was the cell phone video in black and white, while the childs shoes were so brilliantly blue? Why were the "scientist" so young. ALL OF THEM.
I agree somewhat on the HAARP conspiracies. I agree strongly about these sonar "accidents" killing marine life, and also the fact that our government would deny us factual information in order to KEEP order. But this program seemed to be more based on farce than fact. Re-watch it if you're able. Pay close attention to some of the scientists portrayals. Perhaps I missed the part of the program that said actor "portrayals" where going to be used in lieu of real participants...... Let me know your take on it if you're able to view the program again in it's entirety.
I intend to watch it again since I was so tired last night when I got into it and not that attentive while posting on topix during commercials. lol. I did pick up on those blue tennis shoes then the black and white. It may have been because the color version of dead whales and whatever it was they claim was a mermaid was to graphic. This time I will pay more attention and see if they say other people were renacting. Don't know why they just didn't put them into a shadow like the Jesse Ventura sounding bald man. haha. It was sad watching all those whales and dolphins have to suffer and wash up on the beach like that. I think the sonar testing, oil spills, earthquakes, global warming and all the poisen from nuclear plants (Japan), and the trashing of our environment is responsible for those deaths and whatever mutant results they think could be a mermaid are. Sad either way. I know Discovery, Animal Planet, and History Channels are three of my favorites viewing. They do edge up to the conspiracy line sometimes, but with all the ones that turned out to be true I can understand their speculations. As for HAARP, it is real, what they actually use it for we will probably never know or want to know. I did research on it when they thought possible the HAARP/Chemtrails were responsible for all the birds dropping dead and found a lot of credibility in the concern for it when I read the bill introduced to Congress in 2001 addressing it. I will let you know after I catch it on again or pull it up on the web. It isn't on again today, but I am sure they will repeat it.

Hey Ancient Wolf. We just got a great downpour after an earlier small shower. I thought about going to take a nap myself and listen to the rainfall after burning the midnight oil for the last three days. Those trolls are probably older than you and never will be wiser. lol Just got a pop up that OJG emailed. Check your mail. Have a great day.

that's a lie, yes you do. So you never cared what your parents, spouse, boss, children, relatives, or friends think about you? How did you ever get through life? At some point we have to care and adjust our thoughts, actions, opinions, accordingly and if you didn't care then you are a social misfit and probably live a lonely existence.
If what people think about you is untrue then that is the only time not caring about their opinion is appropriate. But if it's true, especially in the form of constructive criticism then you should care. Caring about the opinion of others is how you evolve as an individual and how we advance as a society. So to not care at all means you are low on the evolutionary scale and probably very backwards in your ways of thinking and behaving, but that's okay I guess, why should you care about my opinion of you anyway?

those posts are missing on my computer as well except for 62868 which was from Hempburn. It was rather benign actually, he was talking about the tour de France and the trolls. He did say something about carrying guns so maybe that's why it got deleted. Here it is again:

<<Good morning to the sane ones. I see many post were removed and there is a noticable decline in troll activity, which won't last long so enjoy while it does.

Been watching portions of the tour de france, coverage is not great as Americans do not really get into the bike races. I used to ride a lot and did many century rides, so I like the tour and the chess game involved within the race. Some French troll tossed tacks onto the road and caused many tire punctures yesterday, luckily no one was injured. The mindset to bug, irritate or harm total strangers is a troll mindset I just do not get, but they do keep it real in why we carry guns and stay on our toes when out in the real world, that mindset is out there, it's not just a cyber thing.

Ok so smile at a stranger today instead of shooting them the bird. Have a great day,,, trolls, not so much.>>

Do you see anything there that would be a reason to get deleted?

Good evening all.

Happy to see mainly good posting going on. I almost had to check if I was on the right thread. Ha!

I am staying busy. Today I have worked on a fraud claim for my honey, my son's divorce, and someone else's wedding. Talk about a day. ha ha ha

I am reading a book also. "The Shia Revival: How Conflicts within Islam Will Shape the Future." By Vali Nasr That will make the third book down on vacation and several more books and reports to go.
I have Nasr's other book "No God But God" and will chew that up in the next few days as well. The current reading is like a Civil War within a religion. LOL Pretty much about the Shiite and Sunni divide that sparked after Saddam fell (the statue, literally LOL).

Enjoy the evening. I might pop back in later on.

Much love and big hugs!

Daily Horoscope for May 26

Libra

Home is where your heart is today and you won't want to stray very far away from it. Maybe you could invite some of your nearest and dearest round for a meal that you cook yourself, giving you the opportunity to really spoil them. If you can't see someone in person you'll enjoy ringing them up for a chat to find out how they are, especially if you've been rather worried about them lately.
