Actually today it was Rick Stumbo and gang...one question I have is who pays for the electricity used by these bands or anyone for that matter that uses the stage?

Avg cost to use stage and lights is under $45 per night. Pretty good investment to me.

You are just a mad because you're one of those want to be musicians that can't play or sing worth a shit. I tell you what chicken shit, you get out there on the stage and play for some one for nothing or a benifit. If you don't like it stay the hell home. The stage was built for any one, even for you dipshit; it was built for the people to use for gatherings, reunions or whatever, and the light bill is never $45; you are so stupid, get a life loafer!

But where were all you people when they were playing that head bangin' stuff at the stage?

Enjoy Labor Day folks...keep the crowds comin and maybe they'll get big stars to play like Gov't Plant or Caution! Heck thaey may even get that bunch with the painted up faced lead singer!!!!

Music is music.I personally think live music is great and bands in all flavors should get the opportunity to play.Don't like a certain kind-don't listen. One man's trash is another's treasure. It' free to listen to so quit your bitchin'.I like just about any kind rock, bluegrass, country, metal, screamo. Why complain about labor day because there are plenty of talented musicians from Saltvegas willing to play. Why pay some old fart from the 1950's when you can listen to some friends or relatives jam.

Good they are using that stage for something instead of just letting it sit there.

Here's the reason they book out of town bands. First off local bands are good, but you can see them any time. They are around picking every where. People want something different. Something that will make you want to jump up and move around. To much slow music make's the people get up and go home. I see it all the time with bands.

i think its great that these local bands are using the stage.....if they wanna get out there and show everyone their talent then they can and if you dont like the style of music thats being played out there then u dont have to listen so let everyone else enjoy these talented musicians like malasylum, dysfunction, notia metallo, insanatarium, and even the davidsons...i personaly know all of them and good friends with them and i think they ROCK!!!!!!

yes i will put my name on here. i am the one who has brought all the local bands out to saltville. all these guys from, malasylum, insanatarium, within reason, forsaken hero, notia metallo, soul collision, and many more have worked hard to play for the people. and to let everyone know i get along with the davidsons there are a part of my wifes family. so there is no hate between the different styles, we all help eachother out. also why build a stage for the public to have sit empty for a good part of the year. i have brought these bands and diff styles of music to our town to give everyone somthing to do. also u may wanna know that every show we do is a benefit show to raise money for people in need. so yes some bands to u may not look good enough for u or sound good to you, but they are on that stage to help a needy child, mother, or family with problems. everyone has there own opinions. i love all styles of music. and i play to help people out .so thanks to all that have supported us this year. we luv our local talent and i look foward to letting this area hear more of the local bands. and for anyone that wants to come out on sept 15th we will be doing a show for logan mullins. hes an 8year old boy who just went through heart surgery. so come out and help out if u can.

Metal bands played in Saltville? I had not heard about that. Is there anywhere online that has a list of dates and times for bands who are going to play? If I knew what time to see certain bands I would be more likely to come into town.
