Another one gone, it's not the first and it won't be the last. It always amazes me that people take this site so seriously. I always look at it like this, everyone has an opinion, and I simpley give my opinion, for what it is worth, that's why my name is "the way I see it", so I take everything on here with a grain of salt....

If the comments are inappropriate or offensive to the person being discussed they can request that the thread be removed, they can pay to have it taken off immediately without being put on the list to be reviewed by the editors. Some of you may not take this stuff seriously, but if you were being accused of having an affair, or being corrupt you might have a different opinion. If everyone would stay on topic and quit trashing people's reputations and character then topics wouldn't have to be removed.

Before you elevated someone to Sainthood, you need to remember that we are all mortal, and we all have faults. Its one thing to use your wealth and position to influence people but that does not make you a saint. I think Wayne is a fine young man, but that doesn't mean that he is incapable of making mistakes. I wish that that Upward bound and Little League could both be operated in Saltville and give the kids an opportunity to play basetball throughout the long winter months. If anyone has a lot of money to throw around , why not use it for something that we don't already have? We have a basetball program, we have had it for years, Let Upward Bound play after Little League season is finished, or come up with something else to occupy the kids after basketball is over.

It's because thay are doing it now to hurt the Little League program, what goes around comes around. All of the programs are the same in the end. There was tryouts to see who could play and who couldn't how about that.

that wasnt a tryout. all 120 or so kids will be playing i guess that tryout eas real tuff. HOW ABOUT THAT. FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

Give it a rest people. No wonder Saltville is not so well thought of. Just look at how people here want to belittle one another. Its really pretty simple. If you want to play, then play ever which one you want to. Just remember all knees will bow one day to our Lord and whoever you are I pray that the Lord says job well done come on in. By all means don't people have better things to do than complain about this.

a little bit of choice does not hurt any thing. why cant the grown ups let the kids have fun?

well, looks like upward is trying to get rid of little league after all...my son's age group in little league now has only 2 teams...thanks ollie and todd for coaching...ain't it funny how money gets you what you want...they don't allow bible school at school or prayer at football games yet after upward games a bible verse is read..don't seem fair maybe a call to the school board is in order, but money talks I guess...every year our little league teams had to fight for a place to practice or play a game...if we only knew that we could have just paid a cover charge and or had us a bigshot throwing his weight around..I guess baseball,football,volleyball,s oftball and anything else that can be bought will be....what about all that local money that little league spent for uniforms,pictures,trophies,etc . upward money goes to who knows where...so much for supporting your hometown

I agree with you bigdave68 some what this all came about because some poeple don't like Mrs Nutter but she dosn't make all the rules the Little League Board helps make the rules. Something about photos and the bids for it the lowest gets the bid.
I just wish the Upward had started after the Little League I would let my kid play it would keep the kids busy in the winter. But this is all done in spite.

upward starts after little league in glade...so the kids have a chance to do both..which i think is great...i don't always agree with carol on everything but i like her and she will shoot straight with you...but then again i don't agree with just about anybody on most things LOL...my son really enjoys basketball and i let him choose which program he wanted to play this year and he chose little league....besides have you ever been anywhere that people didn't complain about who was in charge..I'm guilty of it myself and it really has nothing to do with the kids having a good time...I just wish the 2 basketball programs would run consecutively and maybe the kids could enjoy both....one more thing NW football had a rough season but you still ROCK and I'm proud of you all

i thought they were going to have both leagues. i heard little league during the week and the other on sundays. i guess that did not pan out. so there wont be a little league basketball program now? like dave said they should run them at different times. i geuss my choice theroy is shot aint it. know i see why eveybody is mad.
