Mr.Haynes cry? I don't think so he has been teaching way to long too let these kids get to him. I am sure there isn't much he hasn't seen. Trust me, I tried him a few times in the years I was there.

Why bash the teacher for becoming upset??? If I were one of the parents of a kid in this classroom, Id be hoping my child did not do anything to upset an adult that much!!!
U have no idea, a loved one may be ill or who knows!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone cries. People have alot on there minds and whether it be a teacher or not, everyone has a bad day every once in a while. I know I do. But like Metoo said, I would hate to think one of my kids made a teacher upset enough to cry. If I found out they did, I'd be making them upset enough to cry. Mentally and physically.

Known him since the 70s - never in his class, though - but he always did have a tender side... teachers ARE people, too, and who knows what kind of stress is in his life... could be the county will be cutting some important shop programs? bad news for the fair? personal loss in his life?

Wonder why we are shocked if a teacher shows emotion, but ridicule them if the emotion has tears? Would it even be mentioned if he blew a gasket?

The students at NHS NEED A GOOD BEATING FOR THE THINGS THEY DO TO OTHER PEOPLE. MAYBE THE ADMINSTRATION NEEDS TO KNOW WHO IS SHOWING THEMSELVES IN CLASS. THE TAP PROGRAM IS FOR YOU.

Prayer and a good a$$ whoopin are needed in schools, when you made a teacher cry where I went to school, it was because they were trying to gain self control to keep from killing you. The parents of show off smart a--ed kids should have to spend a week in the classroom with their children. To observe them and to discipline them, I know of mothers who would want DNA tests to make sure these people belonged to them. These are the same dunce kids who get into the most trouble, drugs, class disruptions. THey are going nowhere and headed for trouble. The schools should be run like military facilities when you have kids like this.

He probably cried to keep from giving somebody a bad beating. I've seen times, but I never had his control, I tried to kill.

So what if a teacher has an emotion. ( as long as they are not having a serious emotional breakdown, then they should get help)I must say, if my parents would have ever thought I was doing anything or involved in anything that would upset a teacher that bad, I wouldnt have been able to sit for a week. And even if the kids had not been the cause of it, what ever happened to teaching our kids empathy and respect. Maybe something awful is going on with this teacher and instead of worrying about him, or trying to be empathetic towards him, they obviously got a kick out of it. IT is ashame the way kids act. But that is a whole different topic all together. Lets just hope that what ever it was that upset this teacher that bad, gets better, it is hard trying to do your job- let alone when that job is with others children- when something is going on enough to make you cry.
