Wow, here we have a poll that is designed by default to only support your conclusion, you must be very secure in your position to not allow dissenting opinions.

Please secure for all of history your place among the great political philosophers of our time, Aristotle, Plato, Adam Smith, Thomas Paine, Ayn Rand,(insert your name here). Tell us, the unwashed masses, what your 14 years in the government schools of Smyth Co.(only to end up lucky to get your GED) has taught you about running the town of Saltville.

Give us examples of what makes Jeff Campbell a bad mayor, spell it out, make it so simple a caveman could understand it. Make your case as to why we should run Campbell out of town on a rail, and I will go and help you pick out the crosstie (there are a lot of those handy in town) to do so with.

I await with great anticipation the nuggets of wisdom and insight I am sure you will share. Short of that, or you getting involved in town government to "fix things", may I be so bold as to suggest.....

Nut up or shut up!

Once again we have an accusation with no context.

So how has Jeff "lost his moral compass"?

Does he sacrifice puppies to the evil lord Gozer?

Maybe he is stealing a pencil now an again from town hall when no one is looking. That would be a shock, heaven knows there is no history of theft by his predecessor.

I know, he has us all fooled and is really a supporter of The Dear Leader Obama. Jeff is secretly a local Commissar working with the regime to bring about a Marksist\Socialist workers paradise.

On second thought, strike that whole Obama supporter thing. If I really thought he voted for that cancer to the republic, I would be the first to chase Jeff out of town with an angry mob.

The point is, you come on to a public forum, trash a mans reputation with no context, let alone anything even approaching evidence or proof of any malfeasance.

The courage of peoples convictions on this forum is simply breathtaking.

Take a look at his vote "in public" last Monday night, and decide for yourself.

I must give my mea culpa, upon reading my above post it came to my attention that there was a typo. I have mans when it should in fact be man's reputation.

So sorry for the oversight, It is quite obvious that the literacy standard on this forum is rather high.

Still waiting for your response as to vote, or might that put your anonymity at risk?

Question still unanswered, if I did not know better I would think you were avoiding it, surely this is not the case.

The courage of your convictions, and the irrefutable nature of your conclusion would dictate that you would not want to hide behind your keyboard.

You ask if I care enough to attend. I must answer not as much as I used to, the level of incompetence I have seen come from the Council over the years has left me somewhat jaded I must confess.

I also have more than one iron in the fire when it comes to politics.

Now once again, I will type this S-L-O-W-L-Y so some of you intellectual giants out there can try and keep up.

MAKE YOUR ARGUMENT!

First of all, Jeff is a friend of mine. I'm just disappointed in his actions. Second, am I to assume FBO is your real name? Jeff is a good guy, he has simply lost his way.

With friends like you....

I sure hope you are not a friend of mine!

Once again, you give nothing to support your allegations.

FBO is what I believe, my name however is The Great Cornholio!

May I assume your name is Mr. Got Milk?

You can be whoever you want. You obviously don't know Jeff and can't read. Several years ago he tried to fire Steve Surber and couldn't get it done. Last Monday night he had the chance and didn't take it. Take a poll on the streets and see what the citizens think. That is why somebody (not me) started this poll. You still didn't say if you have ever been to a town meeting. This debate is going no where. You have your opinions and I have mine.
