We Love Red Earth Casino! My hubby and I have gambled there, oh, probably at least once or twice a month since it opened. The security and staff have always been so friendly and helpful towards us. It is a very clean casino. Wonderful place to gamble. Most pleasant casino I've ever been in, and we gamble alot, from Laughlin to Vegas, even Deadwood, SD.

P.S. Cindy Smith, if you don't like the heat, stay out of the desert.

I go all the time and I've never seen the security be rude to anyone. In fact, all the staff have always gone out of their way to be helpful and are always friendly. I agree that it security was all over Cindy Smith, she must have done something. I recommend it & on thursday's it's triple points!

Where exactly is this Casino located?
Hey Bill, right before you get to the main entrance to the "Salton Sea" on your right is the Casino, you cannot miss it, Salton Sea entrance is on your left, further down the road.

I don't know where you live, but, I live in Long Beach, Ca., and I take the 710 and then, the 10E, to 86S, going South, the casino itself is on the NAFTA route highway (lots of action about 30-35,000 cars and trucks a day ar going on it, right now, on Highway 86S! And for good measure, property values have skyrocketed there, that area is supposed to be sold out in less then 10 years, the Casino is in developement for 640 acres, the plans for that area, are unreal.

For just an idea of how property values are going up, I bought some property there for under 6K just 7 years ago (may 15, 2007), I was offered 62.5K two years ago for it, prior to the Casino and developement plans even being mentioned. I am glad I did not sell then.

The State has already approved a plan and funded the money, to bring back the Salton Sea, desalination they call it, as the Salton Sea is/was too salty, but, there are bird and wildlife, that will become extinct, if, they do not, so, it will happen.

Just remember, wherever you are, just look on Highway 86S, about 40-50 miles South of Palm Springs and good luck too. Take care, a happy investor!

I had the same bad experience at this casino.
Substandard food, rude staff and yes, security so paranoid like I have never seen before.

I would definitely not recommend it to anybody.
BTW, it also looks like people that work for this casino are placing positive messages on this board. Shame on you, fix your mess and you will not have to lie so hard to bring people through the door.

I have been waiting a long time for this opportunity to join other tribes in the gaming industry. As a tribal member I appreciate all of the comments and if you have a bad experience at the Red Earth Casino Please let someone know. The one item we have to offer is hospitality, the gaming is up to you. Thank you for enjoying our casino.

Red Earth Casino staff is very curtious there. I work there and I tell you they are trained and alert of anything that might be going on there. If you feel you were treated that way, there must have been a reason. Security is only alerted by survelliance. They are following orders. Theey are a great staff. Although I must say they are a bit over staffed, with the amount of guests that come in, however the casino is thriving, and going strong.

I have heard nothing but positive remarks in regard to this casino and the courtesy shown by the staff. My friend has been there on two occasions and won $12000 the first time and $13000 on the second visit. He's a pretty lucky guy, but those are definitely extraordinary odds!I am happy that this tribe has been awarded the chance to better itself through this casino. I used to live in Brawley, CA and I know the depradation and deplorable conditions of the reservation. My only concern is that the tribe has enough wisdom to educate the members rather than shower them with cash. Hopefully they will create a type of tribal award that rewards education and productivity. Additionally, I hope the tribe will put some of the earnings into beautifying the reservation and preserving the cultural traditions of the native people so that all people can celebrate this tribes history. I guess we will see, but I will undoubtedy visit this casino on my next trip down south!

P.S. A good start would be for the tribe to send both Cindy Smith and Liano Duro to a grammar course offered at their respective local night schools so we could read there ramblings with a little less pain.

1st trip 9/01/07 Hi All. Overall it was a average casino experience. Most of the night was up and down, then the machines decided to take my money at the end of the night. Some of the security guards look a little mad but I would probably look made too standing outside in 112% weather. My over gripe with the casino is the size. If any of you have went to augustine It is about 1/2 the size of augustine. For the most part the staff was very courteous. In the beginning the called survallience on me for some unknown reason, but after that they never bothered me again.
2nd 9/8/07 Trip I went late at night and everything was good. No one bothered me no security problems, Just me and the machines and the dealers. I still lost at the casino but I seem to lose at a slower rate than other casinos.

Overall Experience: 1st trip7.9 2nd trip 8.2
Machine Variety: 1st trip 8.0 2nd trip 8.2
Staff Friendliness: 1st 8.5 2nd Trip 8.5
Environment: 1st 7.8 (AC not set quite high enough) 2nd trip 8.1
Music Selection: 7.4 (Doesn't appeal to all ages) 2nd trip 7.9

Avg House Payback: 86%
