Rent to dope head trash and thieves f you want to.But the first time cops get called to the house, you either throw their worthless a$$ out,or the city takes a bulldozer to the house.Good, old, neighborhoods are being ruined by slum lords and the filth they attract.Druggies are like roaches....take away the food and shelter and they will move on.The time is now to let it be known that Booneville is not the place for these slum lords to make their filthy money. No better than the garbage they rent to.

Thereís an older black man that is at dodges every morning he drives a red pimp looking car. He is a slum lord too. I heard some white guy ask him one morning if he bought the house by his. He said yea I stole it. The White guy asked if he was gonna rent it. He said yes. The guy says he has children and itís a good neighborhood and would he not rent it to trash. He said and I quoteĒ I donít care who rents it as long as I get my money ď. The guy got pissed and told him he was a slum lord and him and a few more slum lords were ruining Booneville. I thought it was priceless.

You are refering to John Hooper. Chris and John Fulper are the same way. Michael Brasil is another. They may as well sell drugs and steal themselves as to rent to the folks that do. They are most of Boonevilles problem

Make the slum lords legally and financially responsible for their renters plus make them pay a large security bond on rental property to the city. P. S. Have yíall noticed which ward most of houses are in?

Slum lords are same as the trash they rent to.....
The fact that they got a little pocket change makes no difference.
They attract flies and roaches just like any other pile of garbage.

Sue whomever you wish, this is America you can sue anybody at anytime and thereís an attorney out there willing to take your money. Just like you have the right to sue anyone, everyone has the right to rent.
Oh and ďslum lordsĒ have good attorneys, renters have nothing to take if you were so lucky to win, so you may want to consider that when you open your case.

Dale Michael is buying up houses in what used to be a decent neighborhood. Now it's all loose dogs, loud music, and partying all hours of the night. When you call him to report it, he laughs at you. I used to think he was a stand up guy, but he's just a snake waiting to snatch up a house so he can rent it to the sorriest people he can find.

Strength in numbers is right. One strategy is to call the cops EVERY time one of these POS renters gets out of line.Believe it or not,the cops are here to try and help get trash like that taken care of.A loud music call could lead to drug charge.....a public drunk call might uncover domestic violence....whatever,let's wear that phone out at the PD.
If they are in jail or paying fines, they might not pay rent, and then May be they will get put out.
Also,if these "Scum Lords" have other businesses, don't do business with them and tell them why.
On the other hand,if you have decent people renting in your neighborhood ,( they do exist,I think),
let them know you appreciate them and be nice to them.Treat them with respect,so they will hang around.

No, I donít believe it or not.
In fact if you harass the cops like you suggest youíll be arrested. Secondly when something serious happens and youíve cried wolf ďEVERYĒ time someone does something YOU think his out of line, donít be surprised if they donít show up. I suggest get your own life and mind your own business, loud music is legal unless itís 11:00pm, drinking is legal as well, not everyone agrees with the same things, this is America people like you are the reason we have the largest overburdened incarceration rate and more and more laws stacked on the books every year.
You canít control others lives without yours being controlled, and honestly you look like on wagon trying to circle itself, move on.

Drinking is not legal outside in this county.Disturbing the peace is against the law anytime, just like selling drugs.Since you seem to like loud obnoxious drunks and other losers, maybe the scum lords will move some of your people close to you and you will feel more at home.
Personally,I like to live near decent, sober, respectable people, and I will do whatever I can to make that happen.I am sorry you don't think you and your family are deserving of the same thing.

And no,people like me are NOT the reason for high rates of incarceration.I have never been arrested. The reason is we have too many people who are either too damn stupid or to sorry to follow the law.And too many people who make excuses for them, too.

Drinking alcoholic beverages is not legal anywhere within the confines of Prentiss County. It is not legal to even possess it in your home. If the police obtained reliable information that you possessed alcoholic beverage within your home they could obtain a search warrant, force entry into your home, seize your beverages, and cite you for possession or take your butt to jail for possession of alcoholic beverage in a dry county. Many of us possess small amount of liquor (4-5 bottles of various drinks) but we know we will not be bothered because we won't call attention to ourselves.
