Can someone tell me who owns the junk yard on the corner right in Salt Lick, looks like it may have been a couple of old gas stations at one time but now its just a bunch of junk cars and trucks sitting there? I am looking for a place to open up a nice car wash ant that would be perfect if the owner would sell it. Please respond if you know, it looks like it may have been an old Chrysler dealer at one time too. Thank You

Do you mean its a going business, I never would have thought that. Gosh, I thought it was just an old junked up storage lot, he may not want to sell then, but I will stop in early next week and ask him. Thank you all very much.

I would like to have that old Desota, if the price is right. There's some real nice ones on the inside. They say he wont sell any of them.
Maybe the state could force him to put up a fence around it, and the Business Lady could come to Owingsville and wash her car in our car wash.

I bought a car from them had it a short time then sold it. Within a few wks the tranny was out.. They sold me a car with saw dust in the tranny and it made me look like a bad person because of the bs crap they done. I just got lucky I didn't hang onto it.

Me and my family is from olive hill and have bought, traded,&sold I would say 30 vehicles being classics, diesels and jeeps. And never one time did we leave there ever thinking we got cheated! Old man roy is not in good health his dad started the dealership in the 60's? The family takes great pride in honest business and loves mopars of all kinds and they are great ppl. If anyone knows it's me! And without a doubt without the bird family saltlick wouldn't be half of what they are today! Most negative comments are placed from jealously. So get u a job and go by urself a old Mopar or a new one! U will c how honest ppl work and help the community.
