Well, let's give what you think he did, whipping people with a knotted rope in light of a couple other things consideration.
He commanded all not to harm the innocent in any fashion. He stopped Peter from committing murder and even healed the man Peter injured. Yet you wish to believe Jesus lost it out of his anger and like a human, not a God of love and forgiveness and patience and long suffering and he made a knotted whip and began to flail at anyone within reach in that temple which would have included animals, children and adults with full purpose to leave welts and bruises. But he apparently tired of leaving welts and bruises on animals, adults and children because it records him telling, not whipping, the vendors with doves to take their birds and leave. Or maybe he was telling them to leave while he was whipping them to leave bruises and welts while also breaking their cages as he over turned chairs and tables? I mean where do you want to take this by description? The story tells nothing of what Jesus did with the whip.
Hey, if you and Carol want to be as intentionally stupid about the reason a person makes a whip to begin with, go with it. But people with common sense can see what is happening. Some of us are bright enough not to have to be told every little detail like we were 3 years old. But you go ahead and be that way. I just don't care, you love to choke on gnats.

That is not what the gospel was intended for.

Because that's how he perceives himself and that's what he's claimed to be for over two years in this one thread. I don't think it wrong for me to expect him to speak as he claims to be.
If I claimed to be an active temple going Mormon with the way I speak in here at times would you wonder at my claim if I was lying?
I know many, many active Mormons. I know many, many active Christians as Mormons that do church every Sunday and read their scriptures and do things in the community etc, etc, all things that are part of who they are. I also being around them know if they don't have something nice to say, they usually say nothing in a situation that they find offense with instead of speaking like a drunken sailor as it's said.
Civil politeness is a trait most Christians take pride in having as part of their character. Vile, rude, filthy, derogatory, cussing speech said in hopes to injure one or more others emotional well being, I don't hear that from Mormons and Christians that live their religion because most would never even consider speaking that way. Dana claimed many times to live his religion. I think it not wrong for me to remind him what he want's to be, Christ like in speech and behavior.
I was working for a short reply ...lol.
So let's go through this and see how screwed up your "logic" is. Dana claims to be christian so you want to hold him to a christian standard. Dana also, apparently, claims Mormons are not christian so you wont hold them to a christian standard even though Mormons claim to be christian. You claim Dana is not a christian but, you still want to hold him to a christian standard. Why don't you see how screwed up that is?

There was never a question for me for how you equate indifference with hate. I didn't equate hate with indifference or vice-versa. That may be a question for you but it's not for me.
Actually there was a question regarding how you equate hate with indifference, I asked it remember? You stated, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother,{in the sense of indifference....}. You may not realize it but you are equating hate with indifference. So I'll ask again, why?

<quoted text>After reading this post, I have to give credit where it's due. You're consistent negative reaction to a religion you keep proving you know so little about,(you did state once..."I moved here totally clueless about the LDS.") was one of the reasons(Dana being the other reason)I found insight as how people in Jesus's time that were Jews reacted to Jesus and his new revolutionary religion. You and Dana personify those Jews who were just as you but against a new religion 2000 years ago.
Those Jews 2000 years ago were just as judgmental, just as critical, just as biased, just as prejudiced, just as negative and hateful as people like you and Dana are today. The similarities are so astonishing similar. And like those Jews 2000 years ago, you believe you're as correct as they thought they were to give nothing but negative rage and hate for something they didn't understand either. You're opinions like theirs are the only thing that mattered and like them, you justified your hate and rage any way you could.
History's repeating itself again.
Equating Jesus to bigoted Mormons is really twisted...but I would expect nothing less from you. To you, Jesus like the Klan, neo-nazis, skinheads, most of the militias in Arizona and Westboro baptist church. That's one sick Jesus you believe in.

In the NT Jesus described it as justifyed anger. He never described it as justified hatred. That's your personal interpretation. Anger is anger. It can be soothed. It can be let go of. But hate is the opposite of love. God hated sin. God didn't love sin. Understand the difference? Jesus didn't hate the money changers and priests. It states no such thing. You're personal opinion states that and inaccurately. Jesus was angry with the money changers and priests and he tipped over their tables and chairs to chase them from his temple designed for prayers to him, not to be a shopping mall for sacrifices. Justified anger. It's in the NT. Justified hate isn't. You should acknowledge that actual difference that exists in the bible.
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. Elie Wiesel.
Fine line there between love and hate, friend. Both take passion, both must be nurtured and both must be acted upon. Get a clue, pal.

I believe in God first. A title has never and never will define my beliefs in God though they be attached to me by others. I don't believe the true worship of God has a specific name to be affixed to it except on this earth where humans like to define things by name be it correct or incorrect by God.
You find me vile and rude on a few accounts that would actually define me as having been that. You also are rude and even vile at times with your overt sarcasm and the way you belittle others. But I don't see that as being who you actually are. That's how you speak from time to time. Understand?
Nomo for example, she is vile and she is rude. It's who she's been just in this thread for two years steady. You don't wake up one morning and decide to become what Nomo is. It takes years and even decades to formulate the foul, negative rage hating character she reveals in here day in and day out. Nomo has a real hard time being civil and polite. She'll have to figure that out of course if she wishes to.
Wow Surprise that's deep. So in other words; your christian.

Where do you get this bizarre thinking from? I have never ever said anything of suppressing anyone's opinion. Yet you from some hallucination state I have said that? I keep asking you to read what I write and your responses should be more accurate than this one.
The right to inhibit and or repress another's opinion from the right of a voting booth was established by blood shed you seem not to know about. The founding fathers of this country shed blood so they could vote their opinion that differed from another's opinion. And they won that right for us in 2014.
I support the GLBT and supporters to suppress and inhibit others opinions when voting and I support others to suppress and inhibit GLBT and supporters opinions. I support Dems to suppress and inhibit Repubs in the voting booth, I support politicians to inhibit and suppress each others opinions during representative and congressional votes.
Seems to me you have taken the liberal stance with Nomo that it would be well and okay to take away rights from those that disagree with you and her so they can't even vote or have an opinion at all, which would be Nomo's purpose and intent if she could carry it out.
Fricking read what I write and not what you want it to mean, ask a question it helps :)
Here maybe this will help, Fricking read what I write and not what you want it to mean, ask a question if it helps.
I never said you wanted to suppress opinions, I don't think I even used the word opinion in my post. You are thick as a brick. Do us both a favor and re read the post, ponder it, then if it still doesn't dawn on you what I'm saying let me know.
And I can't reiterate how important it is for you, specifically, to proof read your posts, If you did you would see how contradictory this one is, as are most of your posts and I wont even go into your mention of 2014 and the rights won.
