It's pretty sad your church is fighting for their right to discriminate all the way to the Supreme Court. What will they do when they lose?
Wait. You see sadness in that you claim the LDS church fights for the right to discriminate as you call it yet, you fight for the same discriminating right to fight to make people think as you do and you fight to take away from people the right to have an opinion and a right to vote their opinion. Do you see where the real sadness lays there? It's with your twisted hypocritical thinking.

You can't pick and choose as you like it. Doesn't work that way with the Bible. If it did, than by your logic you just used for homosexuality you'd have to apply for those practicing adultery, porn, bestiality, assault, rape, mental rage hating violence for others(your speciality) etc.

"Utah's Mormons soften anti-gay rhetoric as court rulings allow same-sex marriage "
lol...don't back away from your own pathetic idiotic logic now dude. Utah according to your ramblings for over a year in this thread is full of active Mormons, not non-Mormons. So according to your twisted logic active Mormons were the ones that ushered in equal rights for same sex marriage now, not in ten years. So according to your twisted logic active Mormons now are totally responsible for same sex marriage happening in Utah today and the idea(according to you)was theirs. So give credit where it's due according to your twisted thinking, just saying :)

Also you stated.. "You can't just make up any old crap and call it Christianity. That is what Smith did in a nutshell." And I showed a very short list representing tens of thousands of people that have done what Smith did for the last 2000 years in forming their own religion and called it Christianity. And you were wrong that others haven't did it as Smith did it. And you can't honestly admit you were wrong. As usual.
The strange thing is you belong to one of those religions made by a man as Smith made his religion and you didn't know it. And your man made religion is anti-homosexual and anti-same sex marriage AND YOU REMAIN A MEMBER OF THAT RELIGION. Yet you speak against the LDS for what you support in your religion. Fricking hypocrisy as usual from you as usual and why am I not surprised lol.
Still clueless as to what real Christianity is. Pitiful.

You're an idiot. We don't give a damn how they think. We are just refusing to let what they think discriminate against anybody else. You can have all the Quakers on the moon you want. LOL!!!

Jesus never loved a homosexual any more than he loved a bisexual or a heterosexual. Jesus loved humans called people whom he referred to as the spirits/children of God the Father and who he called his brothers and sisters. Get your info correct, just suggesting.
And your point is? I never said he didn't. Try and keep up and avoid debating statements I didn't make.

FYI:

1) The differences with other Churches though is they don't excommunicate people or dis-fellowship people for not being obedient to God's Laws. The Mormon Church would rather have obedient fellowship than fellowship that is dis-obedient to God's commands.

2) The first Church of Jesus Christ was truly God's Church it just got picked apart and transformed over and over and over and over again... each time branching into a new Church. Eventually when you water down milk so much it doesn't even have nutritional value in it any longer.

3) The second Church of Jesus Christ is truly God's Church it is called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. God instructed Joseph Smith to translate The Book of Mormon. If you look in the Protestants writings they knew of Nephites journeys and wrote of it. If you look in the writings of the Spaniards they knew of the Nephites and their writings are consistent also with the journey of The Book of Mormon. They even describe the 7 boats the Jaredites used as caves once they got to their landing point. Ironically... distances add up... places are there that were described by the Nephites... etc.

4) If you honestly look at The Book of Mormon it is a historical account of what happened to a group of people. There are no prophecies in The Book of Mormon by Joseph Smith. It is just an account of a group of people who broke away from Jerusalem. If you question this ask of Heavenly Father in earnest prayer... and he will tell you.

Do, only your gospel is true because you take from the Gospel what you want (such as genesis) and add to it what you want as we have seen many times in here.

You don't debate much of anything. You call names, cuss, defy God's commands. You implied it in your comment. You know it, I know it, and apparently he knows it.

Just curious..is it ok with any of you that Uchtdorf drives a Porsche cayenne? Doesn't that seem a little excessive? How about suspicious? Do you care that while your driving some old, tired car and budgeting to pay your 10%, this guy pays no tithe, probably little or no taxes and cruises around in a Porsche? Is it ok with you that your hard earned money is paying for lavish indulgences? Driving for Jesus..

And what does that have to do with the questions I asked?
