And of course you agree with LD$, inc...<quoted text>I realize that you've said in the past that your relationship is with Jesus Christ, not the church you go to; however, even though you say you have condemned them for their beliefs on homosexuality, how do you justify it in your mind to still attend that church? I'm just curious. In my thinking if I had a problem with how my church believes and openly stated something of that magnitude, I would not only condemn them, but leave as well. Now, the SA's stance that gays should be put to death is Klan mentality if there ever was any. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised you would still attend, and not be openly opposing them just as you do with the LDS Church.
I applaud people who stay in an organization to change it. If you want to cling to bigotry and not allow change because of some twisted sh1t your pastor/ profit/general/priest/wtf ever you want to call these azzholes told you. go ahead. You will go down as bigots and shame your descendants. It's like everyone of you have suggested I move out of Utah...no, I'm here and you bigoted morons are going to change if it has to be force fed. Every religion out there that perpetuates these views needs change or they choose to be seen as a bunch of lies used to control people. If you want to tit-for-tat Mormons vs SA...go for it and please include the Catholics, born agains, Pentecostals, Jehovah witnesses, baptists, the multitudes of hate groups hiding behind PACS and lobbyist groups who claim tax exemption...etc. you get the idea...and that's just in this country.
Sad thing is that LD$, inc. would probably win the fight.
Personally, I couldn't remain in a religion like that..the ones that stay for change are way more dedicated to it than all the smug bigots
