I am so sick of the amount of dope dealers in this town. Pill, pills, pills.....it'a damn epidemic!! Instead of finding a real job, they make their money off of a "persons" weakness. It is ruining families, marriages, etc...I feel like blasting every name of every dealer I know on here! You can give names all day to the PD but nothing is done. Just another way for them to make money. It's all about the high and the money....

Pills , meth & even the legal drug alcohol. All of them are deadly & dangerous. I hate all all of them equally .

I couldn't agree more . people tend to overlook how many lives are ruined by this legal drug. now some states are legalizing pot like it's no big deal . I feel so bad for future generations & the mess we're leaving them. just sad.

Do some research. Marijuana is far far less dangerous than tobacco and alcohol.

I don't need research, I have the experience of growing up in a family with marijuana users. It turned two good brothers/sons in to monsters until they graduated to hard drugs, one cocaine, the other meth. Then they became even worse. My parents were abused verbally, physically and taken advantage of financially and that was all while marijuana was the only drug being used. You can spout research all you want but I know differently.

I've done research & you are 100% correct , pot is far less dangerous than alcohol & tobacco . I totally stand corrected . I guess what I should've said is it's not pot that's dangerous it's the dealers that are . Maybe not so much here , but in bigger cities . In our area the dealers don't scare me as much as the addicts . I'm not talking about pot but meth & pill addicts . I knew a lady that died of breast cancer & in her final days her own son stole her pain meds. Meth addicts will steal anything they can , from anyone they can & couldn't care less who they hurt. Drunk drivers , meth heads & pill heads are given chance after chance to straighten up & seems very few succeed . Again , you are correct about cigarettes & alcohol being more dangerous. Cannabis has a number of ways it can be used to help people. I was just upset when I posted the other day.

I guess it all depends on the individual. I know plenty of pot smokers who just do it recreationally. They go to work, come home, do their chores at home then smoke a little just to unwind. No harm done. Then there are veterans I know who depend on it....it is the only thing that can help their anxiety, the prescribed meds just seen to make them worse or more on edge. I do wish it could be legalized for that matter alone. But of course there are some that just take it too far, become lazy with no ambition at all. Alcohol....same thing. It can drown a good person quick it they let it. Pills I think are a whol different story. The roxys that are around here are nothing but synthetic heroin. If a person isn't strong enough or has no will power then that stuff with take ahold of them the first time they try it. The people prescribed these meds should be watched closely. I know some folks that are prescribed these...you would never suspect that they are dealers by looking at them. It's out of control around here.

Our couny problem is pain pills. The Drs are giving them out like candy.I too can name names but it dont do any good. I know of people that will spend every dime they get on pain pills. They have no elect or gas in there homes but they can get pills. So sad. They make friends with elderly people that get them and show them how to turn them into money. The elderly will do t because they need he money. Meth is not the problem here anymore. As far as pot. I know many people that smoke pot for years and it does NOT lead to other drugs. They have NEVER even tried other drugs. They dont go aroung robbing people or steal to get it either. It calms them down. You are so wrong on this one (inaccurate research) If your brothers went from pot to the other drugs that is all on them.

I hear that the law doesn't arrest small timers because they are watching them to get to the big dealers. Well, wouldn't it make sense to take away the ones that are spending the money on it first? I think that would be a step in the right direction but noooo. Not here in sequoyah county. I don't get it! These pills are ruining good people. And like "potdontkill" said....the elderly people are some of the main resources. Also the ones that claim to be disabled and receive the pain meds. You would think the doctors around here would wise up to this epidemic and put a stop to it. Hell....drive around town during the day and see how many deadbeats are bumming around NOT WORKING! That should be some kind of dead give away! They need to get on the ball quick, too many younger kids are getting addicted to this crap.

Hahaha...this town judicial system is a joke. I can name at least 20 people that I know that buy these pills cheap then turn around and sell for profit (of course taking some in the process). They pawn valuables for money to buy the pills first then travel to the dope dealers house, make the deal..then BOOM! All the sudden the addicts are right there waiting on that fix. Quick, easy money. Unless you are addicted then you just get high and have no money to show. But hey, that's so much nicer than having pride! ;) These people I know could be so easily caught, they are in town all the time, they frequent the same houses. It would be so easy for them to get caught! Something is up around here for sure because the cops know who's doing this and nothing ever happens. It's sad. I wish the police department would look at this forum and see what a joke we think they are.
