<quoted text>Couple of articles well worth reading prior to the Benghazi Hearings beginning tomorrow.

Barack Obama has claimed all along that when he heard about the attack he authorized the use of all available resources to be used to assist in bringing the attack to an end. So, if Barack Obama did indeed authorize all available resources to the scene, who ordered the stand down? Either Barack Obama made no such proclamation or somebody high up ignored his order. I find it hard to believe anyone would ignore a direct order from the commander-in-chief during an attack which amounted to an act of war against the United States and now it is being reported that only the president or someone acting on his behalf could order the special ops to stand down. If this it true it means either Barack Obama is lying and he didn’t authorize all available resources to be used to thwart the attack, he himself ordered the stand down, or he told someone else (Hillary Clinton?) to order the stand down while he went to bed in order to rest before his major fundraiser in Nevada on September 12th.

<quoted text>Do you honestly think that the sellers of guns to the Mexican Cartel are being sold in a situation to have back ground checks? These guns are being sold illegally whether they are selling on our side of the border or the Mexican side.
I believe they were but were told to let them go anyway and don't worry about a background check. Then lie and deny was put into the plan and Obama invoked Executive Privilege as a tactic to cover it up and out of reach of a Congressional Investigation which is still ongoing. This is without question the most corrupt President in the history of this nation. It is mind boggling to think what else we don't know about, YET!

Although the guns were sold illegally, someone had to approve the sales when you consider what was sold. They purchased hand guns, AK-47 variants and .50 caliber rifles almost daily. In April 2011, a large cache of weapons, 40 traced to Fast and Furious also including military-grade weapons difficult to obtain legally in the US such as an anti-aircraft machine gun and grenade launchers was found in the home of Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo, a prominent Sinaloa Cartel member, in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

Rather than conduct any enforcement actions, they took notes, they recorded observations, they tracked movements of these individuals for a short time after their purchases, but nothing more. Knowing all the while, just days after these purchases, the guns that they saw these individuals buy would began turning up at crime scenes in the United States and Mexico, yet they still were not allowed to do anything. I wonder why?

I cannot begin to think of how the risk of letting guns fall into the hands of known criminals could possibly advance any legitimate law enforcement interest or why Obama and Eric Holder would put forth so much effort to cover it up.

<quoted text>Well what I think happened is Sanford was able to define Elizabeth Colbert-Busch as a patsy for Nancy Pelosi and the left wing of the democratic party. He kept the pressure on Colbert-Busch refusal to take a stand on issues and eventually he painted her as a yes man for whatever the future speaker of the house would want. Reid is out and Nancy Pelosi is in if you believe President Obama, he just told an audience in San Francisco last month that Nancy Pelosi was once again going to be the Speaker of the House. So I guess you could thank President Obama for Sanford's big win!

LOL

Good morning Jesse. I agree with you that we can thank Obama for this and for what is about to happen. Rest assured Nancy Pelosi will never be Speaker of the House again and yes, Harry Reid will be gone before long. In fact this Progressive Liberal movement is close to folding up like a cheap lawnchair, lol before they bankrupt America hopefully. Keep up the great posts.

<quoted text>WOW, Chris Mathews and Al Sharpton have been using Mark Sanford as a butt of jokes for several weeks now. They were certain Elizabeth Colbert-Busch had this race won with a 9 point lead over Sanford just 2 weeks ago.

What in the world happened?

I think Jesse nailed it right on what happened. I can't imagine there would be over a half dozen people would even watch those 2 idiots, Chris (Obama makes my leg tingle) Mathews and Al (Race Baiting Agitator) Sharpton. And MSNBC? The Cesspool mouth-piece of the Progressive Movement should be registered as a Comedy Channel because they wouldn't know what an actual fact is if it slapped them all in the face.

If in fact Elizabeth had a 9% lead, I'm curious where these 9% are hiding now and will they say what changed their mind or will the Obama Media admit their polls are rigged to favor their Messiah? I'm betting Obama has claimed Executive Privilege on that information and ordered declared top secret information, lol.

If we were ever able to find all the voter fraud within that movement we might find that only the half dozen that watch MSNBC are all that voted for Obama and the rest are already deceased Republicans that now vote Democrat out of Chicago. Nothing surprises me any longer from this Administration. They took "Corrupt to the Core" to a whole new level that would make Richard M Nixon envious.

Well, have you all got your "Impeach Obama" and "Hang Hillary" buttons on and filled your glasses full of haterade for Issa's big top circus tent of a hearing today?

Especially after last night's election of Sanford. Republicans have now officially embraced adultery, corruption, and hypocrisy.

Just remember when you listening or reading (lol) this little fact:

Even if the military was sitting on the runway ready to go (because you think the military should be like your local police force) in Crete (nearest assets):

Even the hour and a half from the island to Benghazi would have been too late to save Ambassador J. Christopher Stephens and communications specialist Sean Smith. Both died during the first wave of the attack, less than an hour after the Pentagon was first notified.

Not every Republican is joining you all under the big top today:

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Member Bob Corker (R-TN) said Wednesday that he's "fairly satisfied" with the Obama administration's account of events that led to the deaths of American diplomats in Benghazi last year.

Boy, I bet the teahardist are going to get him a primary challenger for that statement! LOL

Now your blaming Obama for Sanford's election. OMG you've finally flipped your lids.

Only 25% of the registered voter's even showed up for the election. Kinda of hard to poll.

Sorry hypocrites, you own this one!

Way to hang that personal responsibility banner that you guys love to hang up all the time!

Wow! Another one today, we need an accountablity review board for all of these child injuries and death that are always classified 'accidents.'

Hundred of 'accidents'....

A 3-year-old boy in Tampa, Florida fatally shot himself with his uncle’s gun on Tuesday evening, the Tampa Bay Times reports. The boy found the 9mm gun in a backpack in the bedroom he shared with his 29-year-old uncle, Jeffrey D. Walker, and accidentally discharged it.

Walker was arrested Tuesday and charged with culpable negligence. He held a concealed weapons permit, authorities told the Tampa Bay Times.

livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com

All of these gun owners that result in a 'death or injury' should be charged with negligence and jailed, even if their own children died....

Like yesterday's child that shot himself in the head after he got a gun from his granny's back pack....

Granny should be in jail.....

Wow in the last 2 months we had over 137 deaths/injuries of children getting guns left by adults negligently leaving guns around.

Since their negligence resulted in either a death or injury maybe their right to own a gun should be revoked because you know those children have rights under the Constitution too....like a right to life.

Yes it is the responsibility of gun owner to make sure their guns are not out for anyone else can get their hands on. This is true if there are minors in the household.

Which is it Uncle's or granny's backpack where the gun was for that child to get their hands on it?

Further reading of your statement Tamara, these are 2 different shootings, one for the uncle and one for the granny. There has been like 4 in the past 6 days.

Oh I understand it, I just want all these so called accidents charged with culpable negligence.....all of them.

Because the whole concept of 'accident' is that there are unforeseen,so the word accident should be stricken from any of these stories.

All the gun owners that end up in these stories belong in jail with their rights to own guns stripped.

The amount of people injured or killed in these ‘accidents” by lawful gun owners never match the amount of home owners that were saved by owning a gun… so:

Number one victim of guns in these stories: Family members of the gun owner.

Or you could go with :

So, according to Wayne LaPierre, the "good kids" who got shot would have stopped the "bad people' if they had a gun.

I'm amazed at all the 'Republican accountability head hunters' in the Issa hearings.

Since in the past we had this:

Isn’t this the same Republican party that rejected what a General (and ran out of the service) said what the Iraq war would cost and the amount of troops needed for Iraq?

Just as they ignore the embassy/consulate deaths under Bush.

Why don’t they extrapolate the needs and costs from these attacks under Bush to what we have now? Isn't there a ‘lessons learned’ in government? Supposedly the branches of the military have it. Of course that would require politicians being held up for responsibility for cutting 'needed State Department Security budgets too.

Why do you post gibberish which has been disproved under testimony of your party's representative over the security funding? Why do you persist on lying?

Either we have to believe adequate funds were available for security needs which is what was testified too by the individual over dispersal of funds needed for security or you are saying the individual who your political party placed in that position is a liar. You can't have it both ways.

Why do you try day after day to discredit the hearings prior to hearing what these witnesses have to say who were on site? I went on one of your progressive liberal sites to see what the "talking points" concerning this hearing would be and you have been consistent with trotting out those talking points.

Where you make your mistake is failure to recognize people don't like to be treated like fools and gullible idiots. The General Public prefers to believe the best out of those who represent us but on Benghazi it was clear someone really screwed the pooch on that one. All we want to do is find the guilty party and make sure this never happens again.

Any sane person would want the same so for you to be fighting even listening to what is discovered with the hearings tells everyone on this thread all over again you care nothing for the truth!

THE TRUTH HAS NO AGENDA!
