You really had to stoop low to write this one. Absolutely shameful. What if it was you or your family. Unbelievable.....

Why because she's Shannon's daughter and should be treated differently? She or Shannon is no better than the next person and neither are you!

What is so shameful? Letting people know what is going on with underage drinking may help. Keeping it under the rug like it has been in so many years past doesnt help anyone.

John Bennett's stepdaughter,(Nicole's daughter) was arrested and was in Oklahoma Jailbirds. What does any of this have to do with Shannon Vann, John or Nicole Bennett?

In case you are not aware, she is an underage child. REALLY, Is it ok with you for her to be intoxicated? I'd hate for you to be my parent or anyone else's What a deadbeat you are!

First, this has nothing to do with them. Second, it's about a child drinking. Third. I realize you're nothing but a small town gossip trying your best to blame this thread on Vann and Bennett. Get a life.

I guess I did not make I clear enough for you. There are a lot of young people who try drugs or alcohol without their parents knowledge. Some lie, cheat, steal, drive too fast, have pre-marital sex or any other laundry list of things people in general think young people should not be doing. This does not make the parents bad people, it simply means the child made a bad choice. The parents should at least be given an opportunity to discipline and counsel with their child before the stone throwers start pounding them.
What if this would have been your child? Children are children and they do not always behave the way we hope we have raised them. Before anyone starts getting all righteous on me, please think about this. Did you ever do something as a child you knew you shouldn't do but you did it anyway?
Let us leave children off topix. I am simply amazed people will stoop so low as to drag a child into a discussion of this nature in order to throw a bad light on a parent because you do not agree with their political ways.
Clean your own closets before you start telling others how dirty theirs are.

I could care less about Sallisaw being political. If a child does wrong, it should be held secretive until they are killed in a car wreck? If you are commenting for political gain, I feel sorry for you. Underage drinking is wrong and against the law. I question your sanity, I really do!!

PS Move to a country where there is no age limit for alcohol. Just because she is a Mayors daughter doesn't make it creditable.if nothing else, maybe some young person will happen on to this thread and decide to go in a different direction other than what you promote. Hint: maybe you should join a MADR and decide then if you're a minority. Good luck.

I am glad all those casting stones are without sin. Does it make it better to be 21 years old, be drunk and drive and kill someone?

All of you are ignorant if you think an underage kid being drunk is ok. Just because you like Shannon Vann doesn't make his daughter above the law .

Minor with beer. Or a police officer that takes public money. Minor with beer happens all the time we all did that. But officer that takes public funds and has also admitted taking other things. That is different

You prove how intelligent you are if you think it's ok for a minor to be drunk regardless of who it is. This is not about the police chief dumb ass.

You prove to probably be his employee or know someone that is. If you have children and think its ok to drink, you are a sorry excuse for a parent.

So you people truly believe its ok to send an 18 year old over seas to fight and die for our country but think its a big deal for them to have a get together and drink on private property where they are covered by the same 4th amendment of the Constitution many people under 21 have died fighting to defend. Sounds to me like you are a sorry excuse for a patriot.
