Why thank you, but I'm sure you will be black balled for agreeing with me.

Let's get something straight. to critcize Barack Obama and his policies is not racist just as criticizing the Bush Admistration is not unpatriotic. Besides "racism" like "beauty" lies in the eyes of the beholder. And if his comments are racist,so what. Everyone has a right to express them and everyone has a right to oppose them.Thank God! Joe Albero's succes with his blog is because he gives people a voice and has tapped in to a large pocket of discontent. Let's face it, times are tough and people are angry. Angry with bad politicians of all parties, bad businessmen, crime, racists, the immoral"me first lives of the spoiled rich down to the whining demanding welfare recipients."Show love" said it right. This country is a moral sewer right now.And those who seek pleasure from getting high on herion are just as immoral as the Bernie Maathoff's of the world. The innocent have to pay one way or another for their mess.

rich wolf - are you nuts? put down the albero kool-aid!

his site header says "unbiased source", which is a huge lie!

talking about our president doesn't have anything to do with his comments like "acting like they're black, talking like they're black"

but then again... you just said "And if his comments are racist, so what." so that's just paints you as the same.

Well, I don't know if Joe albero is a racist. What I have figured out is if a point of view does not agree with him he will not publish it. As a person of color, I have a tremendous respect for people of all races. That is a fundamental belief of all decent people. Even more than his racist tactics is the fact that he constantly tries to intimidate people who dont take his point of view.

Why do all of you read his blog if you don't like him or his views? I went to his sight once or twice and saw no reason to go back.

If I don't like something, I stay away from it. It seems to me, by going there, reading whatever he posts, commenting on it, good or bad, is just encouraging him to write more and promoting what you don't like.

I can see you are just like Joe. So sad.

Keep those negative thoughts in your head then! Not plastered on a website.

lastword -

Sometimes the site actually posts helpful stories for the community, but that is mainly when it isn't Joe's opinion.

And if you have only gone to his web "sight" once or twice then you know nothing about his stories/thoughts.

You're arguing about something you know nothing about.

Also... I got my point across because the word "unbiased" has been removed from his main page. Truth hurts and he accepted it!

Joe is the furthest thing from unbiased!

Out of curiousity, I started looking at the Salisbury "News" site a few weeks ago. After only a few days, I concluded this Joe Albero fellow was narcissist with an insatiable ego. He has a core following of about 20 minions that post frequently throughout the day. His "hits" reflect these numbers, as well as the legions of people that write in less than flattering comments but never reach the light of day. Joe is keeping censorship alive and well.

As for Joe Blows posting on Jan. 21 above, take solace in the fact that while Albero's banner does read: "Salisbury's most reliable and unbiased source for your local news," take note that the sentence on his blog doesn't end with a period, rather a question mark. I think we call that a Freudian slip.

We were 'arguing' about whether he was racist or not and if he post such things.

It's his site and he can post anything he wants as long as it's legal.

My point still stands. If you don't like what you read, don't go there.

All you're doing is feeding the very thing you don't like. You're not going to change the things he posts.

You and others complain about him censoring this and that, but isn't that what you people are trying to do? lol

You are right about one thing. I don't know the things he posts because I don't find his site interesting. Therefore, I don't go on it.

Everyone has a right to speak his mind. You, me, Joe, everyone. Just because you don't like what he says, you can't make him stop.

And rightfully so.

Eric Holder made the comments about race relations because he is receiving reports in Justice department about racial terrorism. I look at all things both ways, but if blacks want respect they have to treat other blacks in a civil manner as well. I have dealt with vitiligo for a long time and blacks in my local area have lied about my condition and said it doesn't exist. Yes, there are skin disorders that turn blacks lighter and one day a child will come into their family with same condition.

"You, me, Joe, everyone. Just because you don't like what he says, you can't make him stop."

Agreed... but racism and prejudice are acts that shouldn't be overlooked. That was the point of my main post.
