The Essex Base Ball Association is happy to announce their plan for a three team league based out of Spencer Peirce Little Farm in Newbury, MA. League games will be played by 1861 rules and take place on Sundays. The league will feature new clubs such as the Lowell Base Ball Club, Newburyport Clamdiggers, and Lynn Live Oaks. We are still looking for players, umpires, and score keepers. Anyone interested in learning more can join us Saturday March 3rd for an informational meeting at 12pm at Spencer Peirce Little Farm 5 Littles Lane Newbury, MA. For more information contact Brian Sheehy at [email protected] or check out our web site at www.essexbaseball.wordpress.com
