I served as a parent rep on the EA Hall site council back in the 1990's when Murry was principal, and found him to he a very good, caring and intelligent person. Here's hoping the district puts his talents and qualitites to full use...it needs all the help it can get.

I thought he was needed at WHS?Dorma Baker said so in this paper just two weeks ago.
He was making $111,000(+ or-) as principal+benefits. I'm sure he'making more now.
An agent of change?He seems to change jobs quite often.
In 1995,opening the high school in Salinas wasn't the primary reason he left the district.

Exactly. Here was a chance for PVUSD to consolidate and save some much-needed money. Imagine that.
Why does Dorma Baker need assistant superintendents? Each asst. super gets an assistant, too. Wow.
If each teacher could have an assistant, many low and high achieving students in crowded classrooms might get the extra help they require.

There seems to be multiple behavior issues with this guy. If he is in charge of secondary ed. doesn't that expose too many employees to be subjected to the same behaviors? All those things have been brought up but seem to be ignored. The behavior took place in this district and possibly others.
Obviously the board knows all about it.

Actually getting wet was a problem..... if you know what I mean.
And talk about multi-behaviors, they are certainly there.
Subjecting those young Tower clerks to this lustful abuse will be fun for awhile, but a field day for lawyers.

Murry sexually harrassed numerous female teachers. They were unable to come forward because they needed their jobs as single mothers. He set the tone in his school. Unfortunatly his VP Charles Greenleaf was not as lucky and was sentenced in court because instead of female teachers who needed their jobs, Greenleaf harassed female students. The first time he left PV his records were sealed because he left. He got a hispanic woman pregnant and said he would only marry her if the baby was born. It was and he got married, for the second time. Once he returned to Watsonville to head the high school another case was brought up against him at a school committee meeting but was pushed aside. He must really have some dirt on committee members to continue to stay there and to be promoted.

I've heard the same story several times from different sources.I don't see people rushing to dispute it. Some is a matter of public record. A lawsuit filed in 6/95 and Murry leaves for Salinas. Part of the settlement?

What the hell?! Just because we're a low achieving school, doesn't mean you should close it down. It's been around over a hundred years. Substitute teachers come in and tell us that we have the most respect. Even teachers who have worked at other schools before Watsonville High, say that we have the most respect they've ever seen...I'm assuming you're not a WHS mother?! Haha they're not going to close down this school for a loooong time. You better believe that.

This "Schekman" sexually harrassed numerous female teachers, Numerous staff members,discriminate against older age employees...WOW!

His wife is the same. She knows it all, pretends like she doesn't, and it's probably the one that covers all his dirt under the table.( IS HIS SALARY TO HIGH, THAT SHE JUST CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE IT?)JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJ!!!
