See rescue lights, hear sirens? Just pull over

After responding to an emergency call last month, some volunteer firefighters shared their frustration with motorists not using the proper etiquette when an emergency vehicle approaches.

I live on a two lane thourghfare called BEAMAN ST.
I'm waiting to see one of the Clinton Fire Trucks plow over and kill someone due to thier EXESSIVE Spead they apply to the Massive fire engines. I can only guess thier speed when responding to a call but I can tell you this much, I sit and work by a window looking towards the Hospital and when I hear their sirens or horns by the time I can focus down the street they are already coming up the hill. They will hit someone eventually and the results will be devistating. The Police are even worse.
Etiquette (LAWS) in clearing traffic by emergency vehicles as well, is to safely navitagte ALL traffic, not all traffic take a defensive posture in preventing being ran over or killed by emergency vehicles.
