Robert Lively was convicted in 1995 for the second degree murder of Don Elmer Lloyd a elderly man from Harrison County. He will be coming up for parole in February he has served 15 years of his 35 year sentence. Lively does not deserve to be granted parole he killed a man in cold blood this murderer took an innocent man's life. It is obvious he has no morals or any regard for human life period. Lively should not be given a chance to live a normal life and participate in our society. We cannot afford the risk not only does he have the murder conviction he also was convicted of Breaking And Entering,Grand Larceny,Receiving and Transferring Stolen goods, not related to the murder itself. Please let's do all we can to keep this man behind bars.

You can go to this site and see exactly what he is convicted of. You can search by First and Last name.

Exactly!!! Mr.Lloyd does not get to choose where he is going to live that was decided for him 15 years ago by Robert Lively when he killed him. He will forever live in the cemetery.

"He who is without sin cast the first stone." Sounds like a lot of finger pointing. As far as the crime goes, yes it is serious. On the other hand, God used Moses (a murderer) to do great things for Him and His people. Who am I, or you, to judge anyone? The Parole Board has been at this game for many, many years. If they think he is rehabilitated then I say leave the man alone. They will follow up on him all the time when he is released.

They will follow up on him when he is released? Yeah, sure thing. Tell that to Kaycee Lee Dugard and all kinds of other people that are victims to people being "followed up on"...

I bet you wouldn't feel that way if he had murdered someone in YOUR family! Things are not the same as in Moses' day.. people then had to protect themselves and their family and sometimes that meant killing another who was threatening their well-being.
Robert Lively killed a man for no reason at all- there was no self defense involved.
There are so many flaws in our justice system and that is why they let rapists and murderers out of jail who are "rehabilitated" but they kill and rape again. Those people belong in jail and have given up their human rights by taking the life of another innocent man.
Anyone who believes that they should allow murderers and rapists back out into society should be locked up too, not in jail, but in the mental institution! How many innocent children have died after they free child molesters from jail?? How many people have died because they freed a murderer?? How many women have had to suffer through the devastation of a rape because they allowed a rapist to be released back into society??
That is wrong that INNOCENT LIVES have to be taken or completely ruined because our justice system believes that people of this nature can change. It makes me very, very sad.

And to the "he who is without sin, let them cast the first stone"-
There is such a thing as judgment and we are meant to abide by the laws that the Lord has set for us. "Thou shalt not kill."

15 YEARS is enough for taking someones life?? Have you lost your mind?? I think YOU HAVE!!! The innocent man that lost his life deserved ALOT MORE then to be killed in cold blood!!! Maybe if more killers was excuted or kept in prison there would be alot less of them!! I say "an eye for an eye"!!! I hope the parole board sees right through him for what he is, and that "Jack" is a killer!!!

Someone needs to read the Bible. Moses killed a man out of a fit of anger, not self defense. If you going to comment about it, then you need to at least know what your speaking about.

Maybe you need to get your Bible out and read Exodus because, there is a very real difference between murder and righteous anger leading to the defense of the innocent. Moses did not plan to kill the Egyptian. He saw a wrong taking place and rushed to the aid of the innocent. It was an accident that the Egyptian died. that is far different then what Robert Lively has done. Mr. Lloyd was not killed because he mistreated someone in front of Lively and Lively was defending someone innocent or helpless and it was not an accident. I do know the facts of this case Do you think the Lloyd family is comparing their fathers killer to Moses? The answer to that question is NO. He is the killer who took their fathers life on that fateful day when he open the door in his own home and was shot without a word being spoken. There is no comparison to Robert Lively and Moses a man who walked with God. Maybe you should go and talk to the Lloyd family and ask them if they think how Robert Lively murdered their father is similar to what Moses did..

You have known him since he was a baby. So by the sounds of what you have written as someone who loves Robert lively I am sure if he gets paroled you will be a part of his life and you are condoning what he has done, because at the end of your post there was a big BUT!!! Where you an accomplish to his crime, maybe you should go join him. The bible says if a man sheds another mans blood by man shall his blood be shed, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. Anyone who takes another life shall have his life taken. Mr. Lloyd will not have a second chance why should the murderer have one. How can you or anyone else be certain that he will never kill again. And know one can know that but God. The Bible said, THOU SHALL NOT KILL!!

I known Robert Lively since i was little i think he served his time! I would let Robert Lively live with me any time he wants to.The way I think about serveing 15 years is long enough in the hell Hole! 15 years in the hell hole, well he did it to himself. Don Elmer Lloyd is in a 6ft deep hole that he has to stay in for much longer then 15 years, at least Robert Lively is still breathing air he should be glad of that fact.Mr.Lloyd does not have that luxury. And you said," 15 years may change a person you never know" well that "you never know" is why he needs to stay in Prison he deserves it.
