Roanoke cocaine dealer pleads guilty
The last of the eight southwest Roanoke cocaine dealers indicted in December by a grand jury pleaded guilty Tuesday in Circuit Court, closing the book on another phase of the police's recent Drug Market Initiative project.

Eliminating a drug dealer with death is more effective than jail time. The judicial process does not work that well, street justice does... How much is a box of shells for your gun compared to 1 day in jail?

As it turns out the DMI program is a joke. Drug dealing is still going on not just out in the open as it was. Stats for the DMI program were so inflated that the city council had to ask for an independent review. Way to go Don Caldwell & Chief Perkins. Guess the Feds will be looking into that grant money you used for this failed/inflated program.
