company does care

Forest, VA

#1 May 14, 2009
i left a review but i guess the owner does not care. i figured he would response, but i guess he is too rich to give a hoot. that salesman they have, who is a kid and a smart a-- one is useless. if i owned a private business, i myself would be calling the customer to find out how my employees did. but some people are sorry. like this company. the only reason they are in business is due to their great installers. the admin side is a joke.

ReBath has done several jobs for me where I work. The "salesman" has always been pleasant and up-front about the work and cost. The installers have always done an excellent job.

I would suggest to the poster that they contact ReBath with problems rather than post negative comments somewhere on the web. I found this comment by accident - I doubt anyone from ReBath has even seen it.

When people have a problem they should go to the source. If that doesn't take care of it, there are other avenues, like the BBB who will investigate issues and seek a resolution.

The (misuse) of the web makes confrontation so easy, doesn't it?

i called the company and asked to speak to the owner and never heard from them or the manager. when i talked to the saleman he told me to quit rambling. i was listing the problems and that set me off right there.
like i said the installers were great and should be there customer service, because the office staff is a joke.

Rebath Franchises do not care about customer complaints and neither does their Corporate office. They are ranked the highest in customer complaints in their industry and do nothing but keep ripping off consumers. They use horrible bait and switch tactics lie and leave awful damage in homes and never correct the problems. REBATH IS A RIP OFF

We had the product put in but now our window has condensation in it and the bathroom is still under warranty. I went through the branch in Roanoke, VA and they are horrible to work with. They won't call us back and give us any updates or even fix the window. I called back in April and we haven't heard anything since. Today I called and the girl said she would check and call me back but never did. Communication really stinks at the Roanoke branch and the product isn't all that great. We just want them to stand behind their product and fix the window. It gives off the message to me that they have our money and they don't care about fixing anything. I have told several people not to go through this branch and that I would just go through another company all together. Customer service a the Roanoke Rebath is horrible so please don't use them at all.

i would contact the better business bureau, even though they are not a member. it still shows complaint, also contact the local city/county attorney and tell them that they refuse to fix a warrantied item. they need a permit to operate, so he has to get a annswer for you or sue the county or city for allowing them to operate. my friend did it to another business and it was taken care of instantly. especially when he was going to the newspapers.

Let me reassure all that we do communicate with our customers. Especially with those that have complaints or warranty issues. There is a very detailed procedure when someone calls for this reason and it is followed. To address one complaint that has posted there is a thread of communication between my staff and our customer with the bad window. It is true that there is condensation developing on the inside of the acrylic block making it a manufacturer defect. This has never happened before but it is a man made product. This issue is not affecting the function of her bath otherwise we would have made a temporary replacement until receipt of new window. Additionally due to it being a custom size there is no simple way of getting another. However, her window will be replaced and the process of getting a new one has been in effect from her first call to us. Unfortunately this is taking more time than ALL are happy with. The resolve is in the near future.
ReBath of SWVA literally has thousands of happy satisfied customers. Our agenda is to make every one this way. Not an easy task but we are working on it.
I did attempt to post a comment some time back but TOPIX informed me of a browser problem. However, I do respond when I come across such forums. Thanks for reading.

I'm having a problem with the fact a ReBath installer failed to put a trap in under our shower drain. We had three bathrooms installed by ReBath. I'm happy to read that Nicholas Falletta is concerned about his customers. I am currently waiting to hear if ReBath of Roanoke will fix my problem of sewer gases from our septic system in our home. To their benefit they did send out a plumber with a camera to see that there was not a trap installed on the drain. Townside Plumbing of Roanoke, Va. did not find a trap from our shower to our septic tank. We never had any septic smells from the bathtub from the three previous owners. A reputable builder named Turner builders built our home and baths in Union Hall, Va. I'll post our results.

Checked IP's of 2 of these "upset customers" and they are one in the same.... How pathetic is that?
Who is Rebath's major competition? If you have there competition info please reply so I can get the state IP and other valuable info.

I'm wondering why none of these "bath remoldlers" have a customer comment section on their websites.
That would help most people in making their decision if these companies had enough confidence in themselves and their companies to add this little section on their home pages.I was considering a re-bath make over, but I will now wait and try to figure other options. Thank you or allowing me to express my opinion.

It is no surprise this forum has all these complaints about Re-Bath. They are consistent with what many people (victims) are saying about their experiences with Re-Bath.
We got screwed by them too.

nick, i like the product but your young smart mouth salesman lied to me. also did not tell me we could keep double faucet controls. we had wonderfull water pressure before from 40 yr old faucets. now with your single modern (crap)one the water pressure is a joke. also no way in H--- is your product worth 5000 dollars. your installer who is just following orders was excellent. your office people are a joke also. i tried several times to contact your office manager and was put off by the secretary. the only ones worth anything are the installers and shop guys. plus the office tried to charge me for thin strips of vinyl calling it your window trim. nothing like your web site showed, but the guys at the shop corrected it and gave me the proper window trim which was listed on the contract. you are kept in the blind about your company, i know you own several different operations in roanoke, which proves you can not cover all. plus your political comments on here are very vague and non caring.also your comments show you do not know what is happening with your re bath company, otherwise you would not see these comments. plus you are the only franchise not a member of the BBB. WHY?

I wish I had checked out rebath before I paid them any money. They took my check in Feb and said they would be in touch and they haven't called or anything. They had said my bath would be done in June so I called them today and they said it would be at least July 15 if the materials come in. I sure wish it was a way out without losing my money. The lady at the office in Roanoke doesn't seem to care at all. She just says we are really busy. A lesson learned to late for me.

Rebath Franchise in Orlando Florida Stiffs Former Employee With Debt
Rebath Complaint by Bent Over

You were reading a complaint about Rebath.

Filing a new complaint about
Rebath of Central Florida, owned by Richard Sasto, sold to another individual in a asset sale only. Richard Sasto, franchise owner of Rebath of Central Florida, walked away from paying his companies debts after the sale.

Thousands of Dollars in materials purchased and supplied to customers homes was never paid for. Richard Sasto owns another Rebath Franchise in Long Island, New York. People should be made aware that He may not pay for materials in New York and customers could have liens placed on there homes by suppliers and workers. Rebath of Central Florida, stiffed one of his former employees with default judgement in the amound of $18,500.00 plus court cost, and attorney fees. The employee was kind enough to sign a credit application for Richard Sasto, since Richard Sasto was a absentee owner. The debt is due to Scripps Publication, parent company for Florida Today Newspaper. Richard Sasto took the profit from the sale of the Rebath of Central Florida sale and skipped out on this debt and thousands of dollars more. Rebath has a very bad reputation of doing this type of thing ikt is all over the internet. And there installations are of poor quality.

Again you can see it all over the internet. This guy Richard Sasto still qualifies Rebath of Mid Florida with his Master Plumbing license and the person harmed by the debt is seeking that the State of Florida revoke Richard Sastos Master Plumbing License in the State of Florida. Rebath Corporate knows of this debt problem and states, ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM.

Yet Richard Sasto is a Rebath Franchise Holder still in Long Island New York.

Richard Sasto should be made to pay off this debt or have his New York franchise taken away. What kind of Franchise owners are you allowing Dave Sanders? Force Richard Sasto to pay the debt.

A word to the wise before using them run, run like the wind
