A Salem man was sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for ramming his car into a car that had blocked him into a driveway and a police car before fleeing police.

I normally side with the police on issues but this poor guy got the shaft... Ten years destroying property???
1st. There was no one in the car or trailer...
2nd. It was the Police Officer who apparently put himself in harms way...
3rd. The Police Officer parked his vehicle where it could be hit...
This should have just been a civil action and the office reprimanded for escalating the crime...
Willie Ray is in the wrong but not 10 years wrong...
