This is my personal story, by Coral Anika Theill, Author, Advocate & Survivor

In Honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month: A True Story of survival, recovery and healing from domestic violence, marital rape, spiritual and ritual abuse, and judicial injustice in Dallas, Oregon, Polk County.

Tim King, Editor and War Correspondent, Salem-News.com , http://salem-news.com is an advocate for women, victims, and wounded soldiers. In his publication of my personal holocaust and life story (see http://bonshea.com ), Tim King writes:

(SALEM, Oregon)- "Just when you though you knew what was going on in your community, here comes a story that just may shatter the security of your American Dream. This is a story about abuse, survival, false religion and dubious court systems in a state that may be advanced on some levels, but sometimes proves to be a miserable failure in terms of equity and fairness and conventional thinking.

"No aspect of the system worked the way it was supposed to for her, and as long as Coral remains banned from her children and railroaded by a court and law enforcement system that ignores marital rape charges, then her case stands as a measurement gauge for the entire state of Oregon. Nothing about the system is any better than the people it leaves behind in the rubble." - Tim King, Salem-News

"This article is easily portraying the most disturbing series of events I have seen happen to any one person. How injustice can occur at so many corners and in so many flavors to this woman is, quite frankly, unbelievable in 2007. The opening may appear like any other husband emotionally abusing his wife...but what happens when the system does the same?" - Newsvine.com

This is so sad, and very, very evil. I don't understand how there can be such a miscarriage of justice in what seems to be an obvious case of marital abuse. This man and his lawyers really pulled the wool over the judge's eyes, or else the judge was just as evil as your accuser. Some 'christian' this husband was. A real Christian would never drag his children's mother's name through the mud and stalk her legally the way he did you. Apparently this is just not your word for it but all on record. Sad, and this, here in the land of the 'free'. My heart goes out to not only you, but your children. They will learn the truth someday, somehow, someway. God see's it all.
God bless and keep you.

I'm sorry, but it's not just that simple. It may sound to you as if it should be, but it's not.

I've had friends and heard of other women who said men threatened to kill the wife's parents, or her, or her kids if she left.Or-all of the above.

Threats such as this should be taken seriously because it happens all the time. All you have to do is read the paper or watch the news.

Don, quite frankly, you don't know what you're talking about.

Any woman who's been through a situation similar to Coral Theill's knows that it's not that "simple" as you put it.

If women reading this post are going through an abusive marriage, or relationship, I highly recommend reading Coral's book, "Bonshea".

Her website is www.bonshea.com . Coral Theill's is a story that's been experienced by thousands of women here in the United States but never before told in the way that Coral tell's it. Heartrending, spellbinding and truthful, it's leaves one frustrated and baffled that such abuses could occur in marriage, and in the court systems of what we erroneously assumed to be just, honorable and noble.

Many more women get out before it becomes a major problem and lady men are in abusive marriages as well.

Oh, indeed, the male victim scenario. Well, Don, I know there are female hell cats, but women have historically been the most battered of the two sex's.

By the way, have you read the book, Bonshea, by Coral Theill's? It might help you understand there are extenuating circumstances that sometimes make it almost impossible to get out of a bad situation. Threats of taking your children away from you would be one. This is just one of the items that Coral's abuser made good on.

As for me, I am a survivor of attempted murder when attempting to leave, which left me in the hospital and in fear of my life afterward when the coward got away. That was a fun deal. Please don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Capricorn

You're swayed by your emotions today, making you susceptible to other people's machinations. Are you putty in the hands of your beloved? Are you willing to do whatever, just to keep the peace? Watch out for the influence of another's black mood, or you'll soon start to feel just as miserable. Fortunately this strange mood won't last long.
