The Friendly Tavern will never be what it once was. Find a new place to dance.
The building has been all but abandoned for 3+ years, it was filthy before and it is worse now... termites, vermin, rodents, etc.
The bathrooms were unusable, every part of the building operation is needing replacement.. it would have to essentially be completely rebuilt and remodeled.

The place went down hill very quickly as the "manager" robbed the absentee owner blind.
And who would want to go to some foreign owned country music dance hall anyway.

I loved going there every Saturday! Most of the employees were wonderful and so was the management! Never had a problem there. Although everything did run smoothly until a new manager took over and ran it into the ground. Hopefully it'll get back to the same place it once was. Good Luck!

Have to say I went Friday nite..It was great. The post I read on here about it not being clean is way off!!Never had to wait for a drink.I do have to say the DJ was not very friendly. They also should mix it up alittle.Im not saying make it a hiphop club, but dont just play for the two steppers! All and all it was good.Just mix it up alittle more!!!!

I have to say I was dissapointed last night! The bartenders took forever to get out drinks and it wasn't even that busy! They seemed more interested in taking to their friends then bartending! I saw one of the other bartenders on the other side of the bar and I am not quite sure why she wasn't working!! Everytime I have seen her in there she actually works!(I have to say she is really cute too!) She had to come behind the bar to help... in a dress! Sorry Friendly's but wake up!!
