Bible verses about the law:

Romans 13:1-5 ESV - Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Titus 3: 1-11 -Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.
3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. 9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. 10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. 11 You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.

Romans 2:13 ESV - For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.

Revelation 21:27 ESV - But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 21:8 ESV -But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

1 John 1:9 ESV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Galatians 3:21 ESV -Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.

Galatians 3:11 ESV -Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Matthew 5:22 ESV -But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says,‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

This is what the Bible says about judging:

Matthew 7:1-5 ESV-“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother,‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Luke 6:37 ESV -“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

John 7:24 ESV -Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

James 4:11-12 ESV / 455 helpful votes
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
Romans 2:1-3 ESV - Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?

James 4:12 ESV -There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?

Ephesians 4:29 ESV -Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Matthew 7:5 ESV -You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Romans 14: 1-13
Do Not Pass Judgment on One Another
1 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. 2 One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. 3 Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. 4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master[a] that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5 One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. 8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; 11 for it is written,

“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess[b] to God.”

12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Do Not Cause Another to Stumble
13 Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Matthew 7:1-2 ESV -“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

John 8:7 ESV -And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them,“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Matthew 7:1 ESV-“Judge not, that you be not judged.

Luke 6:31 ESV -And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

Matthew 6:14-15 ESV -For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

2 Corinthians 5:10 ESV -For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Matthew 7:1-29

Judging Others
1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother,‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
6 “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Ask, and It Will Be Given
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
The Golden Rule
12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy[a] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to me,‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me,‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them,‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Build Your House on the Rock
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
The Authority of Jesus
28 And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

This is what the Bible says for the ones who had a loss:

Psalm 34:18 ESV -The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Revelation 21:4 ESV -He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

John 14:27-29 ESV -Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you,‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.

John 16:22 ESV -So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

Matthew 5:4 ESV -“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Colossians 2:5 ESV -For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:4-6 ESV -Who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

This thing didn't send the first part of my message. But: My father is also in there. What he did or did not do, I don't know. I love and respect my father my children love and respect their grand father and my job as a daughter is to Honor him. As far as the CO's in there, well they are just like everyone else, they have their good days and bad days. We are human. One thing I do know if we give respect, we get respect. I've been kicked out for not having a quater for the locker, or because my kids had the wrong color pants, or shorts too short when changed to their pijamas they said they were inappropriate and because I left my car unlocked. I travel 4 hrs one way everytime I go visit, with my kids. and maybe I didn't do it on purpose but they are also following the rules, they have a list of what is allowed and not allowed during visitation times. So yes I would call it a wasted day but it's my fault for not following the rules or not being careful enough to make sure it's the right stuff. I can sit and cry or get mad and blame someone else because I'm a single mother and we travel so far and my kids are little etc. but I also need to be responsible and set an example for my children to follow the rules. I don't believe or agree that anyone should judge anyone whether the guards the prisoners or the families of the prisoners the guards or the prisoners the guards. The law was put in place to help. If there was no law we would be in really bad shape, yes there are some that abuse their position, but we should give God ALL of our problems and he WILL take care of us. But going back and forth doesn't help. When you point one finger 3 are pointing at you. If you wish someone that did you wrong any bad you are as wicked as they are.(If You killed my son and I killed you we both be murderers!)
Isaiah 49:25-26 ESV-25 For thus says the LORD:“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you,and I will save your children.
26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. Then all flesh shall know that I am the LORD your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
I pray that every person that reads this is filled with forgiveness, joy, love. For God to open our minds and hearts to understand that He is our God, our deliverer, consolation, savior He and only He can make us change with love. If we repent from our sins and follow Him with ALL of our heart and do His will. We will have peace. May God bless all of you!

I know these Correctional Officers sometimes act without thinking, but many of them are really verry nice. is not the correctional officers problem if a person goes to jail. is the persons responsibility to keep away from going into one of these institutions. PEOPLE need to make better choices in life, if a person is rong theirs nothing no one could do to prevent the Authority from doing their job.

I am very sorry here about all of this I am sure there is some truth in the matter. I've been there for many years visiting a love one and each time I go on a visit it is always drama with the same female officier, she will make you go to the back of the line if there dector goes off 3 times, after taking you 2-3 hrs to arrive there then standing up in line for another hour to get into the visit hall, go through the detector and be sent to the back of the line because it goes off seems to be very unfair to me. What is this wrong with the people in the world today! May God have mercy on you all.

you have no idea what your talking about, let me ask you something,,, if he did what you say he did, why would these little girls leave there children with him at his home and send them on vacation with him and his wife??? something just don't sound right does it??? and they were in there mid to late 20's never said anything for over 15 years, something ant right!!!!! and there was never a rape, even the girls involved will tell you that, so your a person who just talks, and probably a guard that has become judge and executioner you think you are above the law,, and YOU are nothing but a murderer, and i pray to God, God forgive me, you will get yours in the end!!!!!!!
