Review: Buono Panini

My co-workers and I have a tradition of "take out Friday" every week, and it gives us a half hour of time all together to reconnect and share personal news, ETC. It's, all in all, a great time. Well, yesterday,(Thursday) the woman in the office next to mine forgot her lunch at home, so she ordered a 1/2 sandwich and soup from buono panini, but was missing her soup. She said the sandwich was good, so we all decided to order from buono panini today, despite the error and the fact that they do not deliver. Today, my sandwich was missing from the order, so I called and requested a refund. I took the half hour I had for lunch which I would normally share with my co-workers and spent it driving to the restaurant to get my money back. It took about fifteen minutes to be refunded, and then I made an inquiry to the manager, Tara, about a comp for our organization like a coupon for a percentage off our next order, considering I missed lunch because of their error and my co-worker paid for something yesterday and only received half of her order as well. This inquiry was met with absolute dismissiveness, bordering on rudeness. As tara was giving me my money back, she dropped it on the floor and looked at me as though I should get it for her. Then, she flat-out refused to give my organization (I work in the accounting department of a school superintendent office with about 8 others) a coupon for next time. After I told them what happened today and how I was treated, there will be no next time.

I work at a jewelry place down the street and get take out almost everyday. The super buono is my personal favorite!! staff is always smiling and attentive, and never once had a problem with my take out! 5 stars--cant wait to come in for dinner one night!

I have on idea what QQ is talking about. I get take out at least 3 times a week from Buono Panini
and I have never ever had a problem with my order or the staff!! That place is great I also give it 5 stars and in regards to the manager Tara she is always attentive to every customer that walks in!
For as busy as that place is all the time the staff does a great job!!

I have gone numerous times and the food is great, but I have empathy for QQ. We ordered takeout one night and we were missing our antipasto. I called and after I practically had to swear on a bible they believed me...not a good business practice. I bought a lot of food so if I was going to lie about something missing it would not have been the antipasto. Also a new business should be a lot more customer friendly. The food there is great but they have their kinks to work out. The service at lunch is way too slow...They did give me a salad the next time I went but a great restaurant would have done a lot more than that.

QQ you are right. We ate in , trying it for the first time at lunch. 40 minutes for a panini and salad. The lunch crowd was over and the kitchen staff observed to be on and off their cell phone, Cell phone on your ear, back in pocket, then back to preparing food? Think about it. The sandwich topping or spred had a chemical taste. I did not eat my sandwich. Wait staff and manager had no reason, no reason at all why a salad and sandwich took 40 minutes when there was more staff than patrons in the place. Spoke to the manager, then attempted to send a note to them online at the web site but it fails, its an old web site for a billerica ma location. You can get a better panini without being insulted at a sub shop. I will not go back, and if you haven't been, save your money. Shame on them when they bring a check and the whole meal is on the table and they do not care nor inquire if everything was alright

I stopped in 1 day to sign up the restaurant for a bj's membership.The first person I met was Tara.Could not have been nicer.I got a chicken panini to go.Best I ever had.The other people I met were very friendly.Will absolutely go back many times.

THE DARK HAIRED SHORT WAITRESS IS RUDE AND NEEDS SOME TRAINING ON GOOD MANNERS. I REALLY THINK SHE MUST BE RELATED OR WHY WOULD THEY PUT UP WITH HER. FOOD IS GOOD WHEN THEY ARE NOT BUSY. WHEN THEY ARE BUSY THE FOOD IS COLD AND YOU NEVER GET THE BREAD BEFORE THE MEAL. SLOPPY, VERY SLOPPY TO SAY THE LEAST. WILL NOT GO BACK OR HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY. PLACE STINKS.
