Would someone please explain this drug court stuff to me? I have been hearing some of the most ridiculous rules and punishments. I mean if these stories I've heard are true, I can't imagine that its even legal.

Like you can be violated for talking to someone who isn't your immediate family or on some kind of list. Then you would be given community service or even do jail time. I understand the curfew maintaining job doing UA's at any given time but anything else would be a control issue and that's ridiculous.

I was told you're not allowed to talk to anyone unless they are immediate family(who has never been in any trouble) or on some kind of list . And if you're seen you would be violated and be given community service or even jail time. I understand maintaining job having curfews and doing UA's at any given time. But anything more would be a control issue and I would think illegal..

You cannot be hanging out with anyone else who is on probation or drug court. It is a system to help you get clean and a back to a normal person in society. Obviously their rules work. If you don't follow the rules of course you will get community service or jail time. They are giving you this chance to stay out of jail so I can understand their hard rules.

It makes it to tempting to go back to the same thing that got u in trouble in the first place if u go back to the same crowd or people that r still using.Drug Court and probation are things people agree to instead of going to prison. It gives you a chance to change your ways instead of locking u up.

I'm in drug court and yes its hard but if u do what they want u can be a better person. And there is a lot of hardcore rules. Can't be around anyone unless they are accepted bye drug court if they are there is a background check plus they have to do ua's just to be around u. U have to have s job if not a job 30 hours of community service plus 20 applications a week. Ain't allowed to leave dent Co unless ur tracker is ok with it or p.o or the court orders that it is ok. Depending on what stage your on there's 4 its a 18 month program each stage cost you 250 dollars. The program cost u almost 1500 dollars. You Do treatments. Groups. NA. AV. And Aa's. Can only take certain meds unless prescribed and if u get prescribed a narcotic you can't take it. Court cost is another thing. But drug court is a full schedule no time for anything but it and no time for failure. If u don't do these things. Ur fist time warning or fine. Second is community service or fine. Third jail time if not prison. No weapons around u either. There allowed to come and go in ur home as they want. There hardcore rules. But there nice people just doing there jobs and making us better people. Well there u go u got it from playboy.
