Morningland Dairy raided and another family business destroyed 01/25/13

Correction: In this original title caption it was reported 39 tons of inventory were confiscated. That number was incorrect. The exact weight of inventory confiscated was 36,420 LBS or 18.2 tons, NOT 39. I apologize for that. I am going to keep this original video up but make sure that correct number is reported per this disclaimer. Thank You.

Moriningland Dairy, a family business that has been in operation for over 30 years without a single complaint or report of any illness has ceased today. The over two year battle they've had with the Missouri Milk Board ended today with a raid and confiscation of over 250 thousand dollars of inventory seized by the state. As a result of the legal stipulations put on Morningland Dairy which are impossible to comply with they will no longer be able to produce their product.

The real crime they are being persecuted for is producing cheese with raw milk. Whether the state wants to admit it or not that is what their real charge is and that in itself is criminal.

This should be the shot heard 'round the rural world. What has been done to this family is a travesty of justice. Their livelihood has been destroyed. These are good people who ran an honest business. How much more tyranny will we tolerate before we tell the state, Enough!

If we would have had a strong Constitutionally minded Sheriff in Howell County Missouri this would never have been allowed to happen. Sheriff Mike Shannon, where were you? Why didn't you return any calls or emails? Why did you send your deputies to assist in this theft? We would like some answers.

For more on Morningland you can do a simple search on the search engine of your choice or follow this link.

Was this on KY3 or any of the major news media? When these agencies get out of control, we need more publicity. Our newspapers and television news are as much to blame for this kind of thing for not making the public aware of what they are doing. Sheriff's departments all over this state are allowed to just sweep things under the rug and most people never even hear about it.

pasteurization was developed in 1864.the U.S government has forbidden the sale of most raw cheese since 1949.I do not know all the facts and can not say I agree one way or the other.

morningland dairy was in business for for over 30 years without a single complaint.not a bad run, since it has probably been illegal since 1949.I would think that they was notified about this many times before anything was done about it.

If consumers are aware that is product is produced using raw milk and are made aware of the possible health risks from consuming it how in the world is that ANY different that fast food or tobacco? Oh yeah, there is no raw milk lobby! Our government has turned into a sham.

Money, the issue is money. You will not, now or ever, make money of any kind without offering your tribute to the powers to be. Milk now has an overlord, and you will pay homage to him, or you will be crushed. What would have stopped that would have been every customer driving out there and blocking that whole road in, like we do when we go to farm auctions! But we are all hiding behind the comfort and false security of our homes, thanking god its happening to them and not you. We are becoming a slack jawed, twizzler backboned society.

The issue is the government control. We have survive on real food and products before the government started to put preservatives and chemicals into our food supply. The FDA is a joke and people better wake up and realise that we have a right to grow and produce our own food. It will soon be illegal to raise chickens and produce our own eggs. The food that the government wants us to eat is filled with chemicals and are produced by cloning. The government is getting out of control... Americans better wake up. the government wants to take your guns away also so you are dependent upon their food sources. Not just that they want you to be defenceless against a tyrannical government. DON'T let this happen.

I wonder if they can reopen and "give away" their product? But have people give donations? Or maybe trade and barter system? Any of those methods illegal for this? I really think we should go back to the trade and barter system with cash- sure the dollar bill will drop more bc people will give their time and skills and revive more- but hey we would all get the shit we actually need!

There are no health risks, I grew up on a farm and we drank milk right from the cow. We made cheese from the goat milk and never had a problem.. The government is taking over control of our lives, It will not be long before you can't make bread at home because there are no preservatives in it. You can't have chickens and eat them or the eggs because they are not genetically altered to suit the government. You will not be able to grow a garden because it is not treated with the right chemicals. Screw this government. Americans better write and call your congressman and senators. This dominance has to stop. This is our country not the governments. The FDA only inspects 2% of the produce and fish that come into this country from foreign countries. They want to tell us our home grown products are not safe. The hell with this. Keep your guns and ammo safe.

People need to get off of their behind and start calling their senators and congressmen! They work for us! This country is going to be a 3rd World Country if we don't stand up for ourselves! Our ancestors fought for the rights we have here and now a few people are trying to take them away. Stand up for your rights or you are going to be the lamb taken to the slaughter.

Once they put the competition out of business, then they want less regulations, they probably asked for the sweetener rule to be added earlier. As someone stated, pay homage to the demigod and we will protect you.

KY3 just had a clip on how farm raised children have less health problems but we have a government acting as demigods where we need them to protect us when in fact they are hurting us.

(Reuters Health)- The anti-allergy effects of an agricultural upbringing persist well into old age, new research from Sweden shows.

I have seen this done to a family who picked up our trash. They were put out of busniess by waste mgr a state agency. why because they had a pickup truck not a 150, 000 dollar garage truck. after forcing them out of busniess the big trucks raised their rates. i agree please never vote dem again they seem to want to put us in a bubble and tax us and spend the monies.
