I heard on KY3 that Judy was also strangled, isn't that usually associated with domestic violence?

I do trust that what is reported here will be honest, fair and balanced. Out of the two blog sites reporting this will be the only one telling the truth.

Hey Girlfriend...I sure hope we can get one thread, with a few posts that are the truth and nothing but the truth. And fair.

So much garbage out there, with ''sides''. We need some eye witness reporting, or fair hearsay, hopefully.
Thanks Kitsy.

Many things point to domestic violence. The defense attorney "bragged" that not only did Doc Nash willingly give his DNA swab, he took the swab himself and swabbed his own mouth for Mr. Folsem. How generous!! That isn't just "willing cooperation", it's CONTROL. Domestic violence is all about power and control...not out of control anger, not the use of alcohol and drugs. It is always deliberate behavior.
I wonder if Doc Nash was really "worried" about Judy that night when he could not find her or was he reacting to his loss of control because he did not know where she was and their relationship was "really over this time"....
I was hoping the state's attorney would have learned all that he could about the dynamics of domestic violence.
All of us could benefit by arming ourselves with knowledge about domestic violence and continue trying to make it something that is not so accepted in our community.
Domestic violence affects many families in our community and it isn't always just women who are victims.
Arm yourselves!!

I went to EOTC to read their reporter's log. I don't know who that is, nor do I know who's side they are on...but, be prepared for unintended bias, for one side or the other.

Carlson's statement stood out as about as MOST OBVIOUS as anything else written:
Mr. Carlson, the defense lawyer, gave his opening statement. He started off by saying "The evidence will be that you have been lied to repeatedly."

In cross examination it says:
''Mr. Carlson asked Janet about Judy having an escort from the hospital to her car. Janet couldn't remember. He asked her about Suzette's baby being in the truck with them as they drove to Waynesville and back. Janet couldn't remember. Janet testified that Dr. Weidner bought more beer for them while they were in Waynesville. Janet was asked about talking to Trooper Dunlap on March 11th. She told him Judy wanted to drink and talk more at Janet's and that she left and came back with her clothes changed. Janet testified that Doc said he had slapped Judy when she was drinking and hysterical.''

I wish I could highlight here...what Janet cannot remember and what she can is strange. Of course, after all these years, our minds too, would not remember every detail of some afternoon outing.
But..........

''The last witness of the day was Gary Dunlap. In 1982 he was a trooper for the State Highway Patrol. He testified that he got a call from the sheriff's office to come in to the office because a farmer was there and he had found a body.''
~~
''He testified that one of his reports from that day had been written three weeks later but that he had used his notes to write the report.''

I lived here in the 80's....Officer.

Is there something there, that jumps off the page for you?

Recalling the ''Tower Inn'' of the 80's allows memories to come flying back. The gang of hooligans who hung around the parking lot and the ''rounders'' who went inside.

I see no reason not to go read this one sided account of the trial. It just might bring something to light.

Which side is EOTC on?

Fair and Balanced?
Or ''in between the lines'' insinuations ''against the deceased''? or ''against the alleged murderer''? will expose their bias?

Is there bias here?

It will be the kind of thing that unless we attend ourselves that we won't get the whole story. It will be biased. These are the "reporters" Bonnie told us about. If you remember a few months back John Rostron, Kenny Nash and someone else went to a hearing. I know it's not John writing the reports, you can just tell. LOL I'm almost sure it isn't Kenny either. For obvious reasons. New Jersey is another thing altogether. She is biased already. She hasn't even heard the evidence and she's swearing his innocence. DNA will tell the true story. New Jersey can't deny that. I wonder if they checked the DNA on the beer cans and the cigarette butts. Was the purse found in water or on dry land? DNA would be on it too. I would think if she washed her hair after coming back from Waynesville but before seeing him. And his DNA is present under her fingernails. I'm very happy there was a change of venue because the family can't hold Salem hostage as the Maxwell's have done. Even though Salem people didn't find Mr. Brooks not guilty. Some other jury from two different cities found him not guilty and not liable. None the less, the Maxwell's have taken it upon themselves to punish Salemites.
There's still a lot of people to hear from that are being sworn to tell the truth. Is Doc taking the stand?

Well, I've got many reasonabl doubts both ways. Why did she wash her hair at her girlfriend's house? Why were they drinking and driving over to another town to see a doctor with a baby in the car? The behaviors described make no sense at all to me. Well, they could but I really hate to think that sort of thing went on. But the biggest thing to me is that the time of death itself is in question. The standard for conviction is "beyond a reasonable doubt" and I am not so sure they have that with the evidence described to date.

Heard the EOTC Reporter is Joanne Maxwell. Who thinks this might be biased? We should all remember that we were young once and did some things we aren't too proud of. Judy Spencer was only 21.

I commented recently on EOTC about questions being left unanswered. Of course Bonnie didn't post it. I wanted to know more about the trip to waynesville to see the doctor. Who was seeing the doctor and why? Why were they drinking if going to see a doctor? What doctor would buy them more alcohol, especially if a child was with them. I have read the posts on EOTC...and it doesn't really affect me if the man is found guilty or innocent, but I hope we are not convicting a man that may not have commited this crime. It seems to me that Mr. Nash has went into this proceeding as a man found guilty until proven innocent. That isn't the way our judicial system is supposed to work. If he did commit this crime, then he will pay when the time comes...if not I hope he doesn't pay for someone else.

Another question I asked was...it was said that she was out of Doc's league as a girlfriend...then why was she driving his truck and him her car? And if she was driving his truck why try to avoid him?
