You know maybe you don't care or respect the elderly but some of us do one of the neighbors has a hard time sleeping because of her breathing another one has cancer and needs to sleep and there is another that her husband kept her up all the time.maybe instead of asking what people they think should be done i should just turn their a@@ in.

wow. What a jerk thing to do. I swear this world is full of douches like you. Because they are up and around at a different time than you, you want to call the cops and waste their time. Maybe these people work nights or evenings. The world doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Have you even thought about talking to "these people"? Maybe they don't know they're being loud. An if all you have to complain about is the doors "slamming" you should feel lucky. They could be blaring music or screaming at eachother. Maybe you should move to China. They probably have a curfew for the whole country there! This is suppose to be a free country. If I knew who you was I'd turn you in for douchbaggedre!

if this is that big of a deal to you then you really shouldn't live in the middle of town. Even if they are bad news at this point it's still your fault.

hey i know who she is talking about and we have talked to them he doesn't work at all and she works days and she didn't say who she was going to turn them into if you would have read the first part there is kids over there and not only that they get out in their front yard and fight they do have music blaring i have been there many times and heard it. so before you start calling people names and everything why don't you learn how to read or keep your dumba@@ opinions to yourself. i can see you are just a douchebag yourself for not caring about the elderly and kids either

Sorry I ask what anyone thought we should do but it does show me that some people could care less about the elderly and sick or the kids that is in the house having to listen to the fighting and carrying on all hours of the night.

That's funny. All you really said in the beginning was slamming doors. Now all of a sudden it's a huge party every night with people fighting. If they are disturbing the peace by all means report them. Duh. But if they are just living their lives at a different time than you, then ask yourself if your being a little over dramatic. Maybe talk to them. They may not know they are disturbing the elderly and the sick. I also wasn't aware there was that many elderly sick people on Pershing. Maybe they don't know either. Be civil to eachother. Someone has to start it.

It is a very frustrating sitution. I have had to deal with it in the past as well. It is hard to have school age children and deal with disrespectful neighbors. There is just no respect in this town for the most part anymore. You can try to ask them to be quieter, but in my experience all that does is make their volume go up higher because if they were rational people to begin with they would be making an effort to care about the people sleeping in the homes around them instead of acting like it is the middle of the day.

I wish you luck. The last time I had to ask a neighbor to be quiet at 11:00 on a school night so my 5 year old daughter could sleep (there was a party with loud music and several obviously drunk people)....they got up in my face and the police had to be called. The neighor mouthed the officer just as bad as they mouthed me and thus took a ride to the police station. I would like to think that is an extreme case, but I think it is very normal. You cannot rationalize with irrational individuals.

Don't know what u can do about all the noise. Regardless of what some of the other posters to this thread said, people should have a little more respect for their neighbors.Because of financial problems we were forced to move to town.I don't think I'll ever get used to all the noise in town.I didn't realize how many vehicles there are with loud exhaust.People don't realize that there are many of us who work nights and are asleep during the day.I guess if your problem continues call the police and ask them to talk to them.Let them know they are disturbing your peace and quite.

thank you Bill and opinion. I have tried talking to them and got nowhere and littleone I never said which street it was on but can say it is not on Pershing. and I wouldn't be living in town if I would have had my way about it but when your married and you want to satisfied you spouse then you do what they want. now that the place is paid off and the economy the way it is, it make no since to go in dept to move.

Well I understand that. And sorry, I was confused. Someone else said they had loud neighbors on Pershing. I'm just curious. Does one of the elderly sick people live with you?

no. but being a nurses aide and knowing each and everyone of them we have all lived on the same street for years. i know that that sound funny that i am concern for them but we are all friends i can see it happening of the day or at night but i feel they should have a little concentration for the people around them especially kids that are in school and the sick and their own kids that live there and is in school when i hear all the noise going there over my tv and my load furnace it is pretty bad

Neighbors should have respect for other neighbors no matter what the age!!!! We live in a society where MOST only care about themselves. It's very sad when you can't enjoy your home because of disrespectful neighbors, barking dogs, and loud vehicles all night long.
