I've been checking out the libertarian party and it seems like the way to vote!

Personal view I think you would be wasteing your vote U.S.is not ready yet and I think it would help Obama.

Why don't you pick one and live there,and leave. I just gave you 3 countries,Why aren't packed yet ??????

I mean, either candidate has his faults (the media has been adamant on showing us that), but I'm tired of 2 term presidents. It's never just 1 and done, we might as well make the term 8 years these days. If you can't get what you want done in 4 years, your aren't trying hard enough I suppose.

I think Liertarians have the right idea but they don't have enough voters to get the job done so to vote Libertarian will take votes away from Romney and add them to Obama. It would just make a bigger split in the Republican campaign.

Excuse me, you said "Libertarian,Progressive, Commun ist.there all the same" Libertarian's are no where near Progressive or Communist. Libertarian are about liberty and personal choice, a far cry from everything else we see today.

I'm sick of every status quo bootlicker telling me "if you vote third party, your giving your vote to obama" B.S. If I were giving my vote to obama, then I would be voting for obama. One could also say that if I vote third party that I would be giving my vote to Romney. The election hasn't happened, but these wiseasses know that my third party vote will prevent Romney from being elected? I don't think so. Here's something to chew on for those so educated on how our corrupt election process works: a vote for Robamney is a vote for Robamney, because if either of those corporate whores are the next president then we will have four more years of debt, devaluation of our currency, destruction of the Constitution, arming of radicals overseas, endless war, welfare for the rich, expansion of govt., & strengthening of the police/nanny State. Mussolini said that fascism is the merger of corporation and government and I think he knew what he was talking about. You think there is a diffence between the two? Great, go prop up your poster boy and see where it gets you but please don't tell me I'm wasting my vote. Any vote in this election is a wasted vote, ESPECIALLY if you vote for Romney or Obama. I don't vote for the lesser of two evils because I refuse to vote for evil. If everyone would do the same we would be able to vote for something else.

*sigh* People refusing to vote... People die for the ability to vote, yet we refuse to do it when we have the ability. Just vote for something you want, someone you like. If you don't vote you have no right complaining about who represents you. I personally consider it being rude to the people who fight for your voting rights when you refuse.

Yes I too think Libertarians have the right idea but not enough people to send the vote to them so it would be a waste of your vote to go for them. I wish we could.

Ron Paul was the most libertarian candidate, he was trying to get the Republican nomination because only a Republican or Democrat stands any chance in an election. Americans don't realize how quickly we are losing our civil liberties. Republicans and Democrats keep passing new laws, each of which restricts our freedoms in one way or another. One example that blows my mind is the large soda thing in New York. We don't have rights any more, just temporary privleges.

That is exactly right, the two parties have a stranglehold on our system and they are more alike than different, both are destroying the protection of our liberties. We still have our unalienable rights however,because they cannot be given or taken by other men, they come from a higher power. This nation was founded because of these rights being ignored by government.
