Absolutely LOVE the great job they do! I trust nobody other than Tatumn to cut my hair. She is the best. I hope God blesses her salon tremendously! Clean shop, smells lovely(not of chemicals), and very reasonable prices.

YAY YET ANOTHER HAIR SHOP IN THIS TOWN... Really how many do we need.... If they are going to limit the amount of bars allowed then why on earth do they let so many people put up "beauty shops"? You would think when a new one comes in right by one that has been there and is established the old owners would run them off. Come on folks lets all play nice so we can put anyone with talent in the same shop and let the rest weed them selves out... LORD KNOWS THERE IS ONLY ENOUGH TALENT TO FILL UP 1 BUILDING!!!!

The shop you speak of BUTCHERED my two girls hair.. Cut it to their ears and I had to go have someone else make it not all choppy.. That shop is not clean nor does it present itself well inside mord of a resale shop in my opinion. I was not impressed nor would I say they have talent there. so I dont buy what your selling I mean the outter appearence of the two shops speaks more than anything. One is dated and old looking and one is fresh modern and the ladies that do hair themselves appear to look the same. I want someone who knows what they are doing cutting and styling my hair. So I will continue to refer people to Hair Addictions and warn others about the chop shop across the street.

Well we all have our own opinions but I think an old looking shop is not going to affect clients near as much as ridiculus prices for half ass service...

I find it ridiculous I know this is the bible belt, but come on,they even have church music playing while doing hair and nails,Clean NOT AT ALL.Do not see a sterilizer, for naill equiptment or combs and brushes, and it seems like everyone I see walking out has the same hair cut... Good place to spread lice.....Clean it up!!!!!!!!!!

If the "church music" rally bothers you that much maybe you need a good talk with god. Personally I would rather have a religious person cut my hair than a person who is jacked up on alcohol and drugs.

If you don't like the music, service, their hair? Or whatever else then don't go there. They get enough business without all you haters. And they do clean. Just because YOU don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. They ALWAYS sweep their floors after each client. Bobbie cleans all her equipment after each client as well. The music is their choice. The shop looks wonderful! Their hair looks wonderful! You're just jealous I'm sure and have nothing else better to do than sit on a site and bash others.......

Its a pig pen,the floors are filthy and better check not seeing them sanitize their equipment after each use and the buffer Bobbie uses should of been thrown away months ago. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK>>>

Church music playing is enough for me to not go there. Add to that the fact that those supporting the place cannot spell and I don't think it is likely to be very up to date and there is nothing worse than "church lady hair".

Thanks for the info, I'll be avoiding the place.

Yes, they play mainstream Christian music in their shop, not old church hymns. I've been to their new shop and it was very clean and decorated very nicely. I also got a haircut and she did an awesome job and it was reasonable pricing. I like the Christian music, the shop, and the work they do! Keep up the good work girls, I'll being coming back!

I'm in my 20's, don't go to church (not that I'm proud of that) and have been going to Tatumn for years. She always does a great job and I often get compliments on my hair. I've never even noticed what music is playing. I guess as long as I like my hair I don't care what music is playing in the background. And I've NEVER seen her shop unclean.

I have a son who loves mainstream Christian music and I'm very familiar with it and I detest it and the very idea of it.

Why? Well, those I've seen who are into it are not so into their religion but rather into the trappings of said religion. My own son is a pretty good Christian in how he behaves but I question his belief because his religion gives him no peace, no serenity and no comfort. I have two other sons who do get such comfort and peace from their religion but not this one and he's the one big into the Christian music, the Christian concerts and such.

But my comments stand. From what I've seen in the local churches I don't want those haircuts. Sorry. I don't want trendy either, I want classic and elegant which is damned near impossible to get in Salem.

I think when we say "clean" we need to define what is clean and what is dirty to us, personally. Two people can look at the same thing and one will think it clean and the other will think it filthy. It sounds like that is what is happening here.

It's my personal belief that being a Christian isn't about one's religion, but about one's relationship with God. So I'm a little confused as to what you mean by your son isn't receiving comfort and peace from his religion.

As for Hair Addictions playing mainstream Christian music, that really has nothing to do with the churches you've experienced. I hate it that you've hate the Christian music because of the luke-warm Christians. Not all Christians are luke-warm in their ways.

When you say you don't want the kind of haircuts you see in churches, that confuses me as well. What kind of haircuts do luke-warm Christians have? You also say classic and elegant hair cuts. My hair is just long, brunette, with subtle highlights, nothing "flashy". So is that not elegant or classic?

In conclusion, I'm so sorry about the negative stereotype luke-warm Christians have given you.

Sorry, but the only thing worse than a luke-warm Christian is a fundy zealot. They make me crazy.

Me, I seem to find the most Christian acting people NOT in churches. Just been my experience.

As to finding comfort in one's religion, when your God is one of fire and brimstone you don't find comfort in it. You know you're going to hell no matter what you do. When you know your God is one of love, you know you'll be forgiven no matter what you do. Problem is, a lot of folks don't get the latter.
