First of all, hoarding is a disease. People can't help the fact that they have a mental illness. It's really quite sad. Hoarders aren't usually dirty people...it just so happens that when you can't part with items it becomes a health risk.

Regarding Anita- I don't know what the f^ck is wrong with you people. If I ever saw a child that wasn't properly bathed, fed, or clothed, then I could call social services on the parent. If a child is being abused, neglected, or his/her needs aren't being adequately met..they need to placed in a proper home. You getting on here and talking sh^t just shows that you are a piece of sh^t for not doing anything.

If nobody is doing anything to help these children and you are such a good Christian woman..why don't you drop by clothing and bath essentials to help out. If I saw something like that..I know I would help out and I wouldn't post about it on topix.

Oh get off your high horse... Of course someone isn't going to know the term "ADL" unless they work in the medical field or something. It's obvious you quoted text from another source so I doubt YOU even knew what it meant without looking it up.

Nope, I work in healthcare. I help people with those activities every day. I didn't have to copy/paste anything. Also, you should know what classifies mental illness whether or not you work in a psychiatric setting.
