After reading the article above I feel that words have many different meanings and uses. It is sad that one word has offeneded some to this degree, but it surely wasn't meant to.And I am not pointing fingers as I am going through something similar at my work, just not with the word Warlock.

I also think that certain people tend to use times like these to get their names and faces into the public eye more. This can be harmful to others if not done carefully and with thought.Doing so just to be known and fame can be costly to many others in any faith or believe.Salem's a beautiful place with amazing people of all types.I just hate to see something like this bring it down, and where her people aren't taken seriously as they should be as other faiths are.

Charlie Sheen has always been a bit on the flaky side however it is sad to watch him self destruct like this.

As a Wiccan, I don't think Sheen's use of the word warlock had anything to do at all with the Neo-Pagan community or it's religions. No-one gets offended if gamers use the word. I am more offended by yet again being lumped and stereo-typed by the reporter, with no help from the random Pagan who saw a media opportunity.

I don't know any Pagans who even use the word "warlock"!

I have heard of the term warlocking to mean casting out or banning someone from a particular group for an unforgivable offense or whatnot. But I don't hear people using it much in practice. They are plenty of more well-known words that mean essentially the same thing.

Jim Allen (Selena Fox's ex) once defined "warlock" as an "oath-breaker." Maybe Sheen would qualify for that one after all?

Warlocks. PLEASE.... Self-important, self-appointed "warlock" of Salem,...Christian Day...has announced that he "healed" Sheen. Really? If THAT's "healing", he was better off before.
