Those of us in the Wiccan tourism community envy Salem. I think my native Adams the better witch-oriented travel destination but you have the superior marketing skills. I wanted to approach Damien with an idea I have about a bottled moonwater franchise with him as pitchman, but am certain he will keep his business confined to his newly adopted hometown.

You have a big "get" here, and something living and breathing to give the kiddies the chilly willies all year 'round. As you know, business drops off dramatically after Halloween and other attractions become important then. We had considered an early summer serial killer look-alike competition but people here thought that in poor taste. I will have to rub their noses in Salem's latest triumph.

As I understand it, moonwater loses its majick with flavoring or coloring. I would be more prone to go with variations on the labels to denote special days such as Halloween, the Lunar Equinox and May 5, 1993.

You, my friends, are an idiots. If you knew ANYTHING, anything at all about the case against Damien and the other ALLEGED killers, you would know that what you've just said is an insult to both Salem residents as well as any citizen of the United States who believes in freedom and justice for all.

I see that you are from Tennessee. So what is it, exactly, that you know about what Salem residents really want. And secondly, do you actually believe that Damien Echols, had he truly committed the crime, would be dumb enough to commit another felony? He served almost eighteen years on death row, FINALLY was exonerated (almost... we're getting there) and now you think that he's going to move here and just start murdering everyone.

You need a serious reality check. Step outside of your small, enclosed box that is Tennessee and see what is the rest of the United States. We support Damien in Salem, we welcome him and his wife. You can continue to outcast those who need psychiatric help or dress differently than you, but honestly you are on a completely different, and lagging if I may say so myself, wavelength than much of the world.

Our children are safe. Check our crime rate compared to yours. I bet we win.

These pedophile child murderers will never be "exonerated ". They chose to plead guilty -- a mere 4 mos prior to the evidentiary hearing that may have led to the trial that you supporters have been screaming for and funding -- ever since the HBO mockumentaries aired. And the prosecution did not offer up the plea -- the defense requested it.

Trust me. When their 15 mins are up and they are lost in obscurity, one or more will reoffend. Most likely echols. He himself classified himself as "psychotic" and "homicidal".

Unbiased -- unlike the Paradise Lost crap. There was much more involved than a couple of misunderstood youths who wore black, listened to Metallica and dabbled in Wicca. Echols was and most likely still is a very disturbed individual.

ive read many of the documents including 500. i also debated for a long time whether the three were guilty or innocent. ive funded nothing, i am just not an idiot. the case against the wm3 would never have gone the way it did had it been anywhere other than bibleville. the politics involved outweigh the overwhelming (lack of) evidence. nothing actually links them to the murders. what does being from new york have to do with knowing what people from salem want?

I didn't say it did -- I simply pointed out that I was not from TN.

If you read all of the transcripts, then you would know that there was much that linked the 3. All 3 confessed to others, Misslelley several times. And while supporters like to point out what he got wrong, few debate what he got right -- including the Evan Williams bottle. Eyewitnesses seeing them muddy and wet leaving the vacinity. No alibis. Knife found behind Baldwin's house. Fibers and candle wax consistent. Failed polygraphs for misskelley and echols.

Police did not zero in on the 3. Several people were questioned. Prior to the arrest, Baldwin and echols appeared to cooperate. The night of the arrests, they were found hiding under the bed. Oh, and soooooo much more.

Echols "exhibit 500" proves he was more than a misunderstood kid. He tortured animals, attacked peers to drink their blood, threatened to kill his parents and eat their faces. Wanted to sacrifice his unborn child, etc. His mother had him locked up as she feared the safety of the other children in the home.

And no way it was this vast conspiracy by police, prosecutors, probation officers, doctors, judges and 2 separate juries to convict 3 poor innocent kids. Its not even Bible belt -- it was cracktown.

You have probably watched too much "CSI" or some other sort of television program.

People who commit heinous crimes rarely leave a videotape of the event. Yes, it happens from time to time, but for the most part the convictions are based on circumstantial evidence, testimony from people who you don't want to meet in a dark alley, or others who are not retired NASA engineers.

So following your line of reasoning, police just went out and look at random for three people who AMAZINGLY couldn't come up with even one solid alibi between them. Have I missed anything?

Which means you are a fool because if you truly believe him to be a 'child killer', then why support him by purchasing/reading his book? I think you have doubts as to his guilt! You're coming around! Omg the 500. So sick of hearing about that.As a mental health nurse, who worked with ppl just like Damien in county jail I guess I see it differently. First of all Damien was an arrogant little shit who liked to shock ppl to keep them at bay. He was more prone to hurt himself more than anyone. He was not on anti-psychotics(please correct me if I'm wrong, but i can only see tx w/ antidepressants) just antidepressants and half the shit he said did the job intended, it scared ppl.In fact in one of the notes of the hospital staff her recommendations/goals to Damien, was to "stop the scare tactics and let ppl like you for YOU" Secondly i call bullshit on Arkansas....if they truly thought these three young men were guilty of murdering three children they would not have let them out....were talking about children here. No they fucked up and can not bring themselves to man-up and admit it. Two deadly sins involved here pride and greed.
