Friends - A tip, I felt I should really post.

If you are thinking of renting a town house at the Town Homes of Beverly, Beverly, MA DON'T.

This complex is owned by Home properties a national Real estate investment trust. The management and the company are a DEN OF THIEVES.

THE PLACE IS A DUMP. A building from the 70's. Plumbing leaks, that the fat female manager, who is evil incarnate, will s..you for every last penny you have and charge you for repairs that are due to structural problems and plumbing leaks. She is one of the most vindictive persons I have met in my life.

The maintenance guys, most except a couple are MAFIA LIKE. The sub contractors, a few workers are nice but the rest are jerks.

If you want to be ripped off rent here.

I am glad that they are getting sued big time for dog bite.

The old manager is no longer with the company. The new one is much better and professional and caring. Things seems to be getting better. Hopefully with better management and respect for tenants, the community will improve.

But some tenants just don't get it. There are a few with the big dogs who refuse to heed warnings regarding dog waste. They continue to not pick up after their big dog waste. These people should be heavily fined. This is a tenant responsibility. Any decent tenant who cares about their neighbors and where they live, should have the courtesy to pick up after their dogs.

Another problem are the smokers who litter. Cigarrette butts and boxes thrown around. I even saw a used condom hanging on the fence! Litter is problem because of careless tenants.

Management is improving.

I am not a forum person but I have to share my experiance about Townhomes of Beverly with everybody. I found a nice looking, pet friendly apartment, but it's not a people friendly.
The manager of this property is very, very unprofessional. Ms Hartford acts like that's her own property.
I will not rent an apartment on this unit complex because of her and I will recommend to all off you to avoid so unpleasant environment.
Dear Ms Hartford, you did loose a customer.

Thanks to all of you! I was telling my husband about the townhomes in Beverly. Thought it would be a nice place for our family! We are done renting to a slum landlord and paying high rent!! Thankfully, I read all your comments before signing on the dotted line.

This place is horrible! We lived here for a few years and have just moved out. The management doesn't really respond to anything. You send a maintenance request and they come and "fix" it. However, they do quick fixes and is quickly broken again. There is always construction. People coming into your house to do half baked jobs to make it look they are trying to improve the apartments. However nothing really gets done. You and your kids are always woken up by trucks beeping, hammering, people coming into your house, etc. There are so many other reasons, but I'll leave it at that.

Yes, Hartford wasn't very nice either, but they all get that way, after they get some power, maybe its just the higher ups at Home properties who turn these women into witches? Still Hartford is much better than the piece of dog pile Cheryl, what ever that bitche's last name was, ripped us off hundreds of dollars, harrassed us and many others; the older folks, took advantage of their situations. If there is a women from Hell you are it you shameless piece of shit. I hope you read this someday and realize that your worm filled mouth and lies haven't been forgotten and that one day you will have to pay for what you did to the many good people who lived at Town Homes during your hellish reign. Thank God we moved!
