I am sorry Devil but I have been reading your posts here for sometime! You're lack of class and refinement speak volumes for society today! You have no respect for anyone or for yourself. I feel very sorry for you... The fact that you can not carry on an intelligent conversation speaks volumes as to your educational level.
You stated "for those of you against the death penalty are idiots " I do not believe that statement called into the fact weather they were guilty or innocent. I am sorry you did not have a better upbringing with parents who taught you respect for others. You're upbringing is as plain as the nose on my face.. You devil are a small-minded man who is very bitter with life and does not function well socially... For this reason I pity you.

Barrall Pleads Guilty But Mentally Ill to Michele Cavaletto Murder.

Big Shock there. I hope he gets life in prison, and dies a "mysterious" death in his first year there. That would be justice . This douche bag is broken, and needs to be exterminated.

By the way a good book to read is John Grisham "The Innocent Man" It is about and innocent man who is on death row for a murder he did not commit... It's a true story. The police dept was corrupt as well as the whole legal system.. Evidence was planted and true evidence disregarded. This is the best argument against the death penalty I have ever read... If my family member was murdered It would be enough for me for the person to receive natural life in prison with NO PAROLE to know that person will never look at a ocean sunset...Know the joy of family in a home setting or ever make love to the opposite sex is enough for me. Their life will be hell and far worse than death.

There was a murder in Odin Illinois some years back. The boy next door went and killed the neighbor lady in her 40's and raped her to boot. I think this is higher profile because the womans father in law is a politician and she was a school teacher well known in the community. There have been several murders in Centralia and Mt vernon. How about the boy who killed his whole family in Mt vernon or in centralia the two boys that killed the ones father and wrapped his body in a trash bag and left it in the basement?
As far as the man who killed the Caveletto woman if he is truly mentally ill then I do not think we can hold him entirely responsible. He of course should receive life in prison to ensure the safty of the population.
i know the boys that killed the ones father. he both physically and sexually abused that boy. he was scared to death of him. ive seen it myself. he got what he deserved.

IL may have the death penalty, but do your research, no one has been executed since before George Ryan was govenor, so likely this guy won't either.
There is always a first time in a long time. If it is for sure that he did a crime as heinous as this then there should get a free pass to the front of the line. As for the family of the accused, I am truly sorry for what your family must be going through right now however, I watched my uncle go in and out of jails and prisons for most of my life and finally he got drunk one night and nearly killed a girl on a bicycle. There should be a line drawn to where a criminal is no longer able to be reformed and should be taken out of society permanently.
