What a Rip Off!!!!! Centralia for whatever reason keeps hiring economic directors who do nothing!!!
None has ever benefited the town,God just look at the place and the only jobs are modern day sweat shop minimum temp jobs.....Come on...Give me a break already

Now that's not fair. Small towns everywhere that happen to be off the Interstate highway grid seriously struggle to attract business. The E.D.'s job in cities like Centralia is incredibly frustrating. You spend hundreds of hours on the phone and in meetings, only to be told "No, you don't have [xyz], and, besides, where's our multi-million-dollar tax break coming from?" by business owners. This can happen but so many times before you give up and pack it in.
