Looking for peoples thoughts on what happened to Centralia, I was pretty much raised here and it used to be a nice town for the kids to do stuff and weren't harrased by the Athorities for being kids and plenty of entertainment for the adults and not to mention JOBS.

I recently moved out of Centralia and it was the best thing I could've done for my daughter. There is no future for kids or adults living there. Anyone wanting to raise a family should NOT move to Centralia. It is a dying town with nothing to offer but drugs and a life on welfare or in prison.

The comments are sad but true, It would be nice if the Liberial Goverment would make some changes in the welfare program, such has drug testing, since taxpyers are subject to it to be employed to support the bums, so yes why not them?. the other problem is baby mills, generations of young girls getting pregnant for welfare checks, this really is distrubing when alot of fathers are drug into the courts constantly over child support, but the freeloaders are not, I say in order to recieve welfare or medical the person must produce the father and make him accountable, this might cut down on guys getting girls knocked up at taxpyers expence while they get 100 dollar tattoes and smoke 6 dollars cigaretts, wear 150 dollars tennis shoes and don't have a job, whats up with that.
Other comments were Centralia is Drug Ridden, I partly blame our law enforcement and court system, they know who is dealing drugs, but yet our youth still die from overdoses.
I don't have a magic wand to make it all better, but maybe if the public got more involved, we could make Centralia a better place to live in again.

Well. it all started with the prison coming to town. Everything went down hill after that. All in the name of jobs.

I never had a problem with local cops in Centralia. It was the residents of the crappy little town. Thieves and drug addicts. Those not addicted make their living off of the addictions of others. People selling their Link in return for drugs. That's what the town of Centralia offers. Food stamps and drugs. It really is a shame that such a once nice little town is such a pathetic place to scratch out a miserable existence.
