I believe straytrooper was asking a question that deserves more honest answers than flipancy. Trooper, I don't know who you could ask to find out. There are several websites dedicated to exploring military/government movements (I had a black helio land in my front pasture a few months back), but I haven't seen anything about a cavalcade of black vehicles in the general area. Might not be military or government though. Sometimes folks (artists/singers/actors) pass through on their way to Memphis, so could have been a group. If you find out anything, please post as I would be interested in what you learned.
