maybe the govt. should pay me 25$ a month for not having annoying disgusting babies. cause if my tax dollars pay welfare then there should be an incentive for not being a tax burden.

it's 17% of gross income... unless he is contributing to half her care etc. Either you're looking to name names on here or you had a bad lawyer of there's more to your story

he takes her every other weekend. neither of us had lawyers. i didnt ask for a set amount they just went thru our paper work and said that he makes below 10,783 a year so they cant make him pay more then 25$ a month. i dont know its a little confusing. my family didnt understand it, so i figured id come on here and ask other people for their opion.

If you are the primary parent, you should be getting a minimum of 17 percent. You probably should have done your homework before your court date so you would have been prepared to ask for the 17 percent :(

And if he is working off the books, then he wouldbe considered unemployed ... The minimum amoount of 25 a month is generally for those who are not working. Andit would also depend on how manyother kids he was paying for as well.

im not the one who took him for support, medicade told me that ihad to file the paper work for my little girl to get insurance. and for you information, ive been in college for 2years and work 2 jobs, no insurance offered thru either job because i work 30 hrs per wk for each. not like i need to explain myself...i dont need the child support, like i said i wasjust asking for some general information. people are so quick to judge on this website...pretty sad!

Theres this thing called birth control and several methods not just one are suppose to be used. 17% is the limit for 1 child. For someone thats been to college and get pregnant and at a low income, you should have known what spreading those legs could bring. If you can't afford them, don't make them. Surprised the judge didn't tell you that.

Don'tbe a judgemental ass. She works 60 hours a week and is attending school to better her life for her child. She obviously takes care of her child financially, just is unable to do it medically. Insurance its expensive. Instead of criticizing her for working two jobs, going to school and taking care of her child, why not criticize the obviously dead beat dad?

bingo!! like i said the govt. should give me money for not having little shihts, and not being a burden. cause i know alot of people getting alot of income tax because they lie a little in there taxes and actually get money back when i always have to pay.

He probably lied on his paper work, claiming he owes alot of money in back bills. If he gets a higher paying job be sure to take it back to court.

Just because u apply for Medicaid doesn't mean u are on welfare so maybe you should get ur story right.. If you are Seneca they make you apply for Medicaid or the nation won't pay for any outside services... So to say people on Medicaid are using welfare is wrong Seneca members are forced to apply for Medicaid...
