Commission 'all in' for casino in Sugar Creek
“That is not in Missouri's best interest”
The decision brought sharp objections from the state's casino industry, whose representatives argued that a new casino in the Kansas City area would cannibalize the profit margins of existing operators.
'It is patently inequitable and unfair to place existing licensees at risk' who spent 'hundreds of millions of dollars on their facilities, developed the market, and have been good corporate citizens,' said William A. Brasher, an attorney for the Missouri Gaming Association. Read more

lol now the big dog's dont want any competition hmmph. more competition means better deals for consumers. let em have it.

I think I'd rather go to Vegas or some other place that has lots of casinos. I like to go places that have a lot to choose from. It sounds like the Gaming Industry is trying to build an amusement park with just a few rides. Such idiots! Where would the casinos on the Vegas strip be today if they thought that way?
