Deacons were appointed by the Apostles to wait on tables, not run the church nor lord over pastors. Also you may think you have the right to say what you wish. You can say what you wish, but you better be careful. If you speak evil of something God is in or speak against one of His leaders who are led by the Holy Spirit you commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. You can be forgiven of this if it is done in ignorance. If someone does this and knows ion their something is of God, they will never be forgiven in this life or the next. You better be careful how you run your mouth about something God is doing.

How many times has PW said that he don't even take time to read letters with no name? Just a thought. The past few years that me and my family have been MFC we have learned so much from PW and his teaching. We have also learned many things from BJ as well. We must remember that no matter how we feel things are being handled we are still ONE CHURCH & I don't mean MFC. I'm sure I will get ripped for this but I'm ok

Ive attended Maranatha going on 7 yrs now. Ive seen all the ups and downs of the congregation. Ive seen so many people hurt by the leadership in many ministries of the church. I have continued to go there just out of the simple fact of not knowing where else to go. I love Pastor Wright and his family (with a certain exception) and I respect their decisions, but this is one that I cant say that I do. What I dont understand is how you can bring back a couple that almost destroyed the church almost 3yrs ago, and destroyed your sons marriage. So many people were hurt by what happened, and even more will be hurt with them coming back. I understand forgiveness, but use wisdom for goodness sake! And as far as BJ is concerned, he did resign, but he was forced to. He was even told what to say in the letter. I love Maranatha, its a good church as a whole, but its just got too much drama for me to handle.

If you've been going to MFC for 7 years now you would know it wasn't "the couple" that almost destroyed the church over 3 years ago nor was it "the couple" that destroyed Jamie's marriage. It was his wife (not that Jamie was innocent of any wrongdoing in his marriage) and the then music minister. The only person who was ALMOST destroyed was Nichole, who was innocent in the whole mess.

It's funny how you all have something to say but have to hide who you really are,it dont matter if the church knows or if anyone knows who you are GOD does and you should all be ashamed of yourself for talking about something you know nothing about,if your going to spread garbage and talk about people and places be a man or women and post your real name.the church has made mistakes like eveyone has but this is crap to hide behind a fake name to say something you cant own up to...and just in case you check yea im not hiding this is who i am.And be very careful what you say about a true women of God.God will protect his children.

Folks this kind of stuff does not go on if people are saved. If these people who are leaders in this church take part in this kind of sin lifestyle, big clue here it's not God's Church. Everyone sins, but this kind of rampant sexual sin is rotten fruit. Anyone who is truly saved needs to compare the teachings to scripture. The Bible makes it plain that people in leadership positions in a Church should have exceptional morals, homelife, FRUIT. This is a carnal place. And the people taking up for it need to get a clue. And check out what the fruits of the spirit are while you are at it. I pray that after years and years of scandal God gets HIS people out of there before He judges the leaders there. It will be ugly and I pray that not too many people are hurt.

Informed, To my wife's defense. She really doesn't get involved. She lives her life down here in NC. She is innocent and you know that. She has had nothing to do with all that has gone on. She is a Godly lady. She is the most Godly lady I know. I live with her. What has she done to you and what does she have to do with all this? Can you controll your dads actions?
@ I'm blessed---don't know what we're talking about ??? Notice pastor Shane didn't take up for his brother in law...then said his wife was not responsible for her dads actions( understandable) you may be blessed but not with a mind..you are in denial. You don't need names scriptually...just 2 or more witnesses...aren't we God's children...sometimes in court children are hidden from public...but their testimony still stands.

You are an idiot. You use a screen name and then tell people that they should identify themselves. You're a hypocrite. You're the same type of person that people on here have been complaining about. Anyone who spouts off about fake names on here is delusional anyway. The Internet can be a dangerous place to use your real name because of identity theft and the like. This site is set up as an anonymous site. Anyone with any intelligence will use a screen name to protect their identity over the web. My question is why do you want to know the real names of these people anyway? Are you going to take a bunch of your cult buddies to their house and picket it? Are you going to trash their names on this site or others? What Godly purpose could you be up to that would require their real names?

Jesus help everyone! It's obvious that people ate hurt over everything that has happened in the past few months, maybe it would benefit to have a question and answer session? But coming on here and bashing is NOT the Godly thing to do! We must go to God when we are hurting. What is this benefiting? There are children and families involved!!! Once it's on the Internet it can never be erased! Do you really want your children to see this crap? Jesus help everyone!! I pray that healing can take place and people can own up to mistakes they have made!! We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, now start acting like the Christians we are all suppose to be!!

Ok so let's all be honest. BJ's wife got upset over the return of Nicole, not that she wasn't upset already. She was chastised over a viral set of comments made on FB. She stopped coming several months ago. If BJ was pushed out, it would be news to everyone in the know. The truth be known it was probably his own wife who wanted him out because she no longer wanted to be at MFC. Guess the stage isn't big enough to hold her ego and everyone else. Not that BJ has said anything but actions speak louder than words. He said he was going back into secular work. Where's the job? Couldn't tell? Sounds like man's leading and not God's. By all reports they are recruiting people to come to their new home church in hurricane. Not trying to win the lost but take church members from MFC to follow them. I know all of you BJ salivating followers can't wait to get down there to see him. Maybe you should read your Bible more. The new testament church ran into this type of situation and it caused great havoc to the Kingdom of God. Not a great way to win the lost.(Isn't that our mandate?) Are you ego's so bruised that you would throw your christianity to the side and go on a crusade of let's damage as many christians as we can at a particular church? Grow UP! What happened in the past is past. Time to move on!

Of course BJ could come out and put all of this to rest if he has the guts to do it. Did God really lead you away from MFC? Or did you make that decision? If God lead you away, then all this drama is mute. If you made the decision, then you are a liar! So I challenge him to get on here and set the record straight. Did you follow God or are you a liar? A man of God would have got up and told the truth no matter what the consequences. If he was pushed out and made to resign then he should have said that. I guess that maybe it was more about money. He got $5000 severance, an IPAD, and health insurance. His wife is a teacher and gets better insurance than the church can get. What's that about? It wouldn't cost much to add him to her insurance. If he is going back to secular work, what about that job?

It's time for everyone to be honest and move on. If you are leaving, leave. Have some honor about it. If you are staying, stay and get to work.

If you don't understand then it is clear that you don't understand what one must do to be a true follower of Jesus. To pick up your cross and follow Jesus you must forgive as He forgave. If you don't forgive the word says that you will not be forgiven. Sometimes it is not an easy thing to do but we must. Repent and forgive. Hold that grudge in your heart and you will not be forgiven. Not everyone gives a crap about BJ or his wife. More than that scandal has taken place there. Since you mention it, this BJ that left doesn't owe you anything. He doesn't have to give you an explanation. You people act like it is your duty to know anything and everything about everyone who attends MFCult. You, my brother, are the one who needs to get over it. While you're at it, get over yourself. MFCult isn't the only church. You make it seem like you think that the only place to find Jesus is in your multiplex. Trust me that it isn't and people trying to divert others away from your cult of choice isn't affecting the salvation of the people they are trying to pursuade. They will pray and follow the path that they feel God is leading them. They don't have to explain it to you, BJ, Pastor Wright, TD Jakes, Mike Murdock, or any other person that you can think.

Hey Time to be Honest it's time for you to be quiet and stop trying to so discord. The word warns us of people like you. You are full o fhate ans all you want to do is help your father the Devil tear down God's Church. If you don't like the way things are then go somewhere else and spread hate and discontent. You will have to answer for every word you have spoken. Blasphemy is a very serious sin. It is even one that won't be forgiven if you do so knowingly.

Louda, your right he owes me nothing. That I am sure of. Funny, BJ would have to have something I am jealous of to be jealous. John, you don't know me, so to say I am full of hate only reflects to what you are feeling. I am not sowing any discord only asking that BJ clear the air. I am happy where I am and will continue to fulfill God's purpose in my life. I don't understand why all these folks are upset if BJ was LEAD BY GOD to go elsewhere. Isn't it God that they are mad at? If it wasn't God who lead him away, then be mad at BJ.

Either way I really hope that BJ finds happiness, where ever he goes.

Who said I was a preacher? Sounds like you have a lot of bitterness and envy in you. I pray that God helps you and that you can get past it. You sound like you were hurt badly. God please move in this persons heart to help them overcome the spirit of bitterness and envy. I pray this is Jesus Name!
