UPDATE: The memorial service for Dick Mills will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.
Betty especially wishes to express her gratitude again to everyone and to let you all know how encouraged she is and blessed by all your love and support.
UPDATE: On May 25, in the early morning hours, Dick Mills went from the arms of his family to the arms of the Lord.

The Body of Christ has lost a powerful prophet of God who spent his life seeking the Lord and serving Him in a pure and upright way. His voice and ministry will be missed by many, but the legacy of the call of God will be the prophetic word spoken across the world.
Below is an article I believe you will enjoy reading.

"A Visit From The Lord"

The word “visit usually is associated with socializing. We go to “visit” our relatives at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Friends drop in on us in order to pay us a “visit.” We go the hospital during visiting hours to see how our friends or loved ones are getting along. Our usage of the word visit invariably has a social connotation.

In Biblical usage “visit” means a lot more than dropping in on friends or relatives for friendly chit-chat. Visitation in the Hebrew language is PEQUDDAH (pek-ood-daw). Strong’s defines it as,“to oversee, mainly in an official capacity.” Young’s calls it “an inspection, a looking after.” Al Novak in his book “Hebrew Honey,” delineates visitation as “providential care, to go to anyone in kindness to see how they are. God gives life and canopies it with His favor and visits, in order to inspire.” Gesenius describes PEQUDDAH as “attending to, visiting to search, test, explore and inspect.” It also has the military connotation of a mustering or numbering of forces. Also a passing in review. An inspection to determine if the troops are ready for action. Job’s statement,“Your visitation has preserved my spirit,” has some interesting possibilities.

The Lord visits us as a doctor makes a house-call. The doctor doesn’t come to see us for social purposes. It isn’t an afternoon tea with relaxed conversing. He does come by to check us over, take our temperature, check our heart-beat, and prescribe necessary treatment. He will do all that is within his capabilities to insure that we have good health. The Lord’s visitation is like the doctor’s call. He wants to tune us up spiritually so that we can have the best of spiritual health. He is really looking out for our best interests.

Visitation is like a military inspection. The thought behind inspection is checking to see if we are properly attired for spiritual combat. In the military, the soldier wears only what is assigned him by his commander. It would be a rag-tag army if each soldier only wore what he wanted to and disregarded the other soldiers. Our commander Jesus has issued us the whole armor of God. He inspects us to see if we are wearing it. His visitation is an inspection to see of we are walking in obedience to His will for us.

Visitation is a search, test and an exploration. The Lord visits us primarily to test our reactions. The condition of our heart is vital to healthy spiritual progress. He is searching and exploring the depths of our heart. This helps us discover resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness. We could read this verse as,“Your exploring search is a preservative to my spirit.”

Visitation is providential care. Most of the modern translations consulted used the word “care” for the word “visitation.”“Your care for me preserves my spirit.” David said,“What is man that you visit him?”

This verse could also read,“What is man that you care for him the way you do?” His visitation is providential care. This care watches over our progress, looks us over for improvement, prepares us for the future and ends with our perfection. Don’t fear or dread the Lord’s visitation. It’s for our good.

He won’t destroy us, He will preserve us.

Mark 6 34-37 Part 2

Huntington, WV

#1193 Jun 3, 2012
Part 2:
Now we get to the 12 baskets left, the first thing I thought of is there was 12 sons of Jacob, 12 tribes of Israel, and of course 12 Apostles, but what about the left over fragments of bread.  Yeshua is the living bread which comes down from heaven, he says that when he is lifted up he will draw all men to himself.  In gathering...he is the temple to which all shall go to drink and to eat.  This could be the foreshadow of the scattered people of Israel and the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the return of the scattered people from all nations to which they were exiled.   12 Represents Priesthod Power of service at the highest.

While doing the study I thought about the 144,000 and Yeshua in this "feeding the Multitude... this can be divided by 12 or in this case 12 baskets.. 144,000 divided by 12 is 12,000 and what I found out is this is the number of War.. Num 31 v 5 12,000 armed for war, Josh 8 v 25 12,000 killed in war Judg 21 v 10 12,000 sent to destroy Jabesh Gilead, 2 Samuel 10 v 6 12,000 from Ish-Tob hired, amont other by Ammon for war against David, 1 Kings 4 v 26, 10 v 26, 2 Chron 1 v 14, 9 v 25 is 12,000 horsemen under Solomon's command, Psa 60 12,000 Edomites killed by Joab.  Think about this with regards to Revelation.  12 is the number of governmental perfection which will be what happens when the Lord returns to rule. In Revelation thre is the sealing of 12,000 from each tribe and the second one is the city measurements of 12,000 stadia in lengeth, breadth, and height.  The 10 times it appears in the Old Testament it is in direct connection to warfare.

So in this that seems like a nice little boy who gave up his fish so many could eat, God as usual has such deep levels of things that tie things together in a package that knits the new and old Testament together and shows us what was, what is and what is to come.

To end the study may we go back to the Old Testament and tie this all together, II Kings 4 vs. 42 - 44:  A man came from Baal-shalishah and he brought the man of God some bread of the first reaping (first fruits) twenty loaves of barley bread, and some fresh grain in his sack.  And Elisha said "Give it to the people and let them eat.  His attendant replied, How can I set this before a hundred men?  But he said, "Give it to the people and let them eat. For thus said the Lord:  They shall eat and have some left over."  So he set it before them; and when they had eaten they had some left over as the Lord had said...

I wonder how anyone can question the word of God, man could not come up with a way to link all this together, his ways are truly higher than our ways... praise the Lord.

Something is shifting in the Atmosphere,

BREAKTHROUGH IS HERE!!!

HARVEST IS HERE! Glory to God!!!

I heard the Lord say, "The time is Here and and the Time is Now for Your Harvest is Being Released -

I said Your Harvest is Being Released, says God and I will Open the Floodgates of Heaven for you and OVERFLOW will be Your Portion, for you have been Faithful and you have Not Fainted.

Mark this Day for even the Years that the Locust have eaten will be Restored unto you,

Look up to where your help comes from for it does not come from man but it comes from the Lord.

I will do it for My Namesake and My Glory says the Lord of Hosts."

The Lord is Faithful and kind and gentle and compassionate and long suffering towards His people!!!

Written by a powerful and true prophet for the Body of Christ:

This last half of the year.

I DECLARE that every tongue that speaks evil, false accusations and lies against you be exposed & sent back to pit of hell where it is sent from, and never to enter any living being again.

The Lord build around you a hedge of fire..

Woe unto the demonic vessel that the enemy would use to cause you spiritual injury!

Let the glory of God cover every aspect of your life & His angels encamp around you in Jesus' name!

I cancel every evil effect of curses & covenants in Jesus' name!

You are covered by the Blood of Jesus..

You have the presence of the Holy Spirit and are led by Him in all your decisions!

You are favored!!!!

Walk in His GREATNESS!!

Selah!!!!

I watched the webcast last night and I was truly amazed at the pastors jumbled thought processes. He takes jabs at people, his congregation, and other religious affiliations. Finally, he failed to tie his message in... What was his point? Oh let's see... Anointing.... He should have told his flock that Jesus was the anointed one... The rest he did was symbolism of power.... So to all you holier than thou Maranatha folks....wake up and follow Jesus not some crazed lunitic that's entertaining you and taking your money all I the name of Jesus.

No...not atheist and not implying....I am saying these titles the mega churches come up with and IMPLY the titles are given to them alone start circulating and become the saying of the month fir their followers.....then....the big TV preachers are using the same phrases and writing books with the same titles....tell me... where did the "harvest" phrase start? No name calling necessary....

You're so funny. I'm quite capable of making an intelligent decision.....the question is are you? Just think about it and research. Don't be a follower .... Use your head and seek the truth.

You better watch yourself when you criticize a minister like that. I have seen very bad things, and what must be also Karma happen to some who did what you are doing now.
Also, in you insulting paragraph, you didn't mention the pastor you're speaking of. Why is that? Hmm? Mention his name if you are so willing to attempt to put him down again. Name him right now, while I'm on here, so I can pray while you do so.
You do NOT know him. It is obvious. IF you wanted to really be mature and give someone the benefit of the doubt and actually walk up to him, introduce yourself and go from there. But I doubt you would. Because you would then feel ashamed for doing as you're doing. And worse yet, who knows what will happen next. Be careful, but I will pray for you.
Sweetheart... Prayer is the very best thing you can do. I'm glad to know you believe in it. Embrace it. Fall on your knees and talk to God. Jesus is our anointed savior.... Stop being defensive of your preachers fine speeches and theatrics. Study the word of God and pray for your soul and others. What really counts is YOUR relationship with God. No one else matters. And btw I do have the courage to confront any man that is conveying false and/or confusing information bc I love you and all Gods creations. Now be smart and use what God gave you... Your mind. Use your mind... Research and stop following what you think of as the "popular crowd". It takes courage to stand up against the crowd. But, first you must know Gods path for you and HIS plan of salvation. Otherwise, thanks for the prayers, as I always need them, but it's I that prays for you and those that follow a false prophet.

Watch myself for making statements about your pastor? He is a man. He is NOT God and I do NOT have any fears. I follow God... Not a man who obviously has issues with pride and being superior. Remember... I listened to him preach on Wednesday... Did you? Didn't you hear his comments and jabs? Surely you are smarter than that.
I fear no man bc Jesus Christ is in my soul. I do not fear your preacher.... Or as I like to call him ... Your entertainer...

Wouldnt mind knowing your pastor, just dont want to give most of my money to him. I hear that place MAKES you give alot of money and other things to it before you can join...or be a member. What ever it is called. I myself would prefer a small church with a precher who reads from the bible, not say what he Thinks it means and tell you to listen to what he tells you not the bible. Not saying that is what yours does. Just what I like. And I believe God talks to all of us, we just have to be smart enough to listen and do our best to figure out what it means and what to do or not to do.

Thanks for the tip and I do! I hold a bachelors in pastoral studies, and theology! Spent many years doing a lot of research! Your cute to think I am a follower, an I don't seek my own truth. People need to back off and leave PW alone. He may not be perfect, but I know he spends a lot of time in the Word!!

BTW, I am in NO way saying that I think/know/feel something bad is going to happen when I said be there for him. I'm suggesting that not only you, but we all need to realize how short and how precious each and everyone's life is (especially to God). And that instead of thinking of ourselves so much, maybe we should look at this as- what can I do to help another christian? Quit frankly, I think I can help a christian by speaking truths that I know.
Kathy, you seem like a really sweet person... The kind that anyone would want for a best friend. I don't want to hurt your feelings or anyone else's for that matter. I just know what I witnessed on Wednesday... And I was disturbed by it. All I'm saying is... People with an open mind can see the same thing. The reason outsiders critize him and the church so much is bc they see the webcasts (Just like me) and they get turned off. If you're secure in youre beleifs and you accept that Jesus died on the cross to save us then you're golden. I do not care about the pastors good deeds. I care about people going to heaven. I'm not a fan of false prophets.
