A Hurricane city councilman was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly sent sexually explicit text messages to a 13-year-old girl.

Nasty a** perves. So disgusting. They need to start casterating the men that do it and for the females they need to be shot... U know legally by the gov. Like a shot that kills u... Cant really stop a woman and there is NO CURE!! WE NEED TO STAND TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN! SEXUAL PREDITORS ARE THE WORST THERE IS NO REHABILITAION FOR THEM. SO THEY ALL NEED TO BE JUST KILLED!

Its very sad. There is an epidemic out there. Putting them in jail and sending flyers out to tell the neighbors does nothing.... They just get smarter when they go to jail... Nothing to do all day but plan how to perfect their nastiness. The only way to do it is kill them maybe then they will think twice. No amount of time can give back what they have taken... Not only that but the victims have to live out their life knowing that the perves only get a small amoount of time and will also be released into the public again.....

What do you expect when we as society accept EVERYTHING as "normal" behavior? Boys looking at nude pictures of women while they are still in elementary school, we say, "Oh, they're just curious." The shows on T.V. portray images for children to see 24/7 that have demoralized us all to the point that we are no longer shocked by the news we see every evening. Every day we hear of murders, stabbings, kidnappings, drugs, arson, & revenge. We should be appalled that these actions are happening, but instead we consider this "normal" because we hear it so often. We should stand up for what is right even if we are the only ones standing. Make a point to teach our children and young adults how to respect themselves and others. Start now. We can all can make a difference by not accepting the "normal" behavior and changing our own mindset to become better "teachers" of the youth and role models for those around us.
