I'm glad it worked out for "all" parties involved.
Billy Joel can only be a plus for the community with refurbishing what once was.

What is Newsday's obsession with reporting everything this man does? Is it really news worthy that Billy Joel is getting 4 slips, prime dock space at below market value? What about his drunk driving? P.S. I heard he's selling his centre island home because he couldn't get membership to the local yacht club because they don't take his types there.
Your last name wouldn't happen to be "Brinkley", would it?:D

Actually, he is a member of Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club. He has been a member for almost two years. Your information is incorrect. He was accepted into this club.

This is nothing more than a shakedown by an immoral and corrupt local government. You would expect this is Soviet Russia, not in the United States. What a disgrace.

Wait , He is not getting this for free. HE has to pay a liscence fee and is giving up 50 feet of the property. How is that free?

I think he actually did a good thing by making this agreement.

<quoted text> Yeah free food, you will be provided with goya beans and a glass of sea water. Have a nice trip wetback. Dont forget not to come back. Your kind is not wanted anymore. Dont you wetbacks see what American people think of you? You can not be that blind, your people have trashed every state you lived in, its not just Long Island or Florida. Nobody in America wants you here anymore, the immigration bill is nothing but amnesty that they want passed. If they put it to a vote by Americans, I will say you wetbacks are history. You wouldnt even stand a chance at being allowed to live here.
Dude, lighten up... go smack the wife around or yell at the kids or something... jeez, kick the dog!
Sorry, I'm sure you're sitting in a studio apartment, drinking cheap beer, gettting ready to pass out before going to work tomorrow at 8 in the Hauppauge industrial park, driving a forklift, all the time seething under your breath how it's all the immigrants fault that you are such a loser.

Please. People were paid under the table. Everybody's happy. I'm glad Billy got his way. At least he's honest. I trust him more than the politicians. All he got was his dock. He loves Long Island. The politicians just want to bleed us and line their pockets. At least Billy gives us music with the hand job.
