I have never seen Indians at Belmont. There are plenty of Italians that enjoy the game and have a cultural claim to building this casino. The Italians should be allowed to build a casino as a reparation from the war crimes of the Moors in the 9th to 11th century. Women were raped and slots need to be erected to right that wrong.

A Casino located in the New York City Borough of Queens within the city limits at Belmont would be a license to 'print money'. The Shinnecocks aren't the problem. John Gotti's home is a ten minute ride away. Kapeesch ?

After the white man bought manhattan for a bag of beads and trinkets the indians wouldn't sell them Queens, so the white man did what he always did, he took it.

America's First Nation's sufferred a holocaust that deserved a museum long before the people from the other side of the world got theirs, but the indians don't multiply as fast living on those reservations.

The political numbers of surviving indians were never sufficient for their 'holocaust' museum to get built.

More than 90% of the Belmont property is in Nassau County.

But the entrance is off the Cross Island Parkway in queens, and the city's gonna provide the gamblers 20 to 1 against Nassau County. This will be a New York City Casino any way you describe it.

If they were smart they would build a Casino at Orient Point where the Ferry goes across Long Island Sound to New London, CT. Then they can also Compete with Fox Run and Mohegan Sun for New England gamblers.
Building a casino out on the Orient point would jam the one two lane country road to get there. East enders would never allow it. Besides the gamblers are in western Long Island and mostly the city, that will be a better place for the casino to compete with the far away New England indian casino's.

Belmont's a perfect location, even Aqueduct, which is reachable by subway.

You are a Clueless idiot and haven't the brains for foresight. No one with any brains should start a business in any boro of NYC. Get a clue. Taxes are too high with too many restrictions on businesses. Stick to something you know like Mast*urba*tion. All your posts I have read of yours makes me come to the conclusion you are a typical far leftist jer*kof*f.
A tad testy are we ?

Ignorance is no way to feel better. The Shinnecock's are a nation unto themselves and can negotiate the tax status if the casino license is gained for them by their status as a 1st nation that preceeded the establishment of the United states.

As far as your comments on 'self abuse' I'll refrain from challenging an expert like yourself. BTW does it really cause the hair to grow on your palm ? I've heard that was a consequence of people like you beating it all the time.

I also heard it destroys brain cells, so perhaps you should cease abusing yourself before you lose what minimal remaining capacity for thought you may still posess. Based on that last post you have maybe one or two more brain cells than a house plant, so now would be a good time to quit.

Good Luck with that.

Belmont Park was built as a warm-weather track in 1905. The 'new' track was built in the 1960's. The stands and building are open to the weather and there is no heat there. No air, no heat, no nothing.

The slots were a deal in 2001 for Aqueduct with MGM but then some folks from the New York Racing Association were indicted by the Feds and MGM pulled out.

Nothing works with New York involved unless you have your hand out and do not have blue eyes.
